The video is what kind of people I think of when people say "don't tell me to calm down".
I have seen the language in that video posted here many times. It isn't like somebody doesn't know any of that language. I guaranty every kid on the planet knows all those words by the time they are 10. In some work places that kind of language is common chat. However this deal isn't about the language in the video. It is about people wanting to close a thread because some one called some one else stupid or a dummy head or something.
And I still don't have a problem with the mod at all. I just don't see the need to close a fun thread for simple disagreements. If that was the case and every thread was closed because of two or more people in a disagreement every thread on the internet would be locked.
You can have a civil disagreement without name calling, that's all. Your video doesn't offend me really. It's just a good example of a poorly raised kid. And as for any 10 year old knowing that word, perhaps your right. Doesn't mean they should use it. There are plenty of words that I know, and I use them a lot quite frankly. But I would not post them in a thread where such language is not appropriate. Obviously I'm from an older generation, and really have no respect for kids that talk that way.
Well once again this thread has gone too far. I'll leave it up to Krewat as to whether or not it remains closed permanently but for now it will stay closed.
After almost a four year hiatus, we have decided to reopen the original V10 vs psd thread. In light of the many changes to the Super Duty powertrain lineup and to include all possible combinations in the debate, the thread has been renamed "Gas vs PSD".
A look back through the 12,000+ posts in here reveals how passionate all of the SD owners are about their choice of powertrain and how lively the debates get. That said, the ground rules are simple....follow the Site Guidelines when posting in here just as with any of the other forums and understand that violations of them will be dealt with accordingly.
This is a huge thread that had a ton of participation back in the day and we're looking forward to the same this time around.

Now post up, behave, and have fun.
I thought this argument was settled in favor of the diesels already?

So in the 6.7L forum we've been seeing a lot of engine failures just out of warranty. Something to the tune of $20,000 to get the truck back on the road. How many 6.2L trucks have gone through that?
