I filled my diesel up this spring when I pulled it out of storage. It is at a half a tank now, might be enough for all summer the way it is going. My little lie-o-meter says 17.1MPG today, after the first camping trip this year with 20-30mph headwinds it was at 12MPG. Wonder what it will say by the end of the tank.
Here we go again. Gasoline drivers can't make arguments without stretching the facts.
As of today Pilot for Ohio reports gas prices $3.24-3.49, diesel prices $3.87-3.95.
Pilot truck stops have diesel prices always higher than regular stations. Pilot Flying J - Complete Pricing List
Read what I wrote. In Cincinnati those are indeed accurate. I dont care about the freakin flying J. Your confusing your overrated over priced smelly diesel rig with a REAL diesel truck. I know what I'm missing and I like it. It's halllllllarious, you guys really think your driving big rigs huh. hahaha Just like little boys playing in the sand box. Do ya make the engine noises with your mouth while your driving too. hahaha

Now you will argue what you call the "area".
Gassbuddy is having occasional typos, but here is diesel reported in Cincinnati East for $3.60. Highest prices I see for the area are $3.99, Far away from you have posted. Ohio Map Gas Prices - Find the Lowest Ohio Gas Prices on a Map
Please stay away from the post bakruptcy gm trucks. The quality of those trucks have made them worse than the Rams and thats BAD. If you use your truck for anything other than highway driving stick with the ford
Im just looking for the engine. not the truck, I honestly do not like the GM styling at all.
That is why I keep my PS stock. Last Sunday had it for 20 minutes with gas pedal on the floor and 1st gear. The temperature lieometer never moved from the center of the scale.
Don't know about V10 but I never drove gas engine who would allow you to do that without boiling over.
Well I just did it. Not for 20 minutes nor WOT. It won't pull at WOT in 1st very far at all. Any way my ect=200, eot=210, these raised 20 degs my tdt shot up 10 degs my egts might have move 150 deg. I didn't notice my boost. I ran for maybe 5 seconds or so. I got off it whe it quit pulling and I hit 4k rpms. I'm not sure of my top speed either I think between 30-35 but not sure. I don't see your point on this one. The 05s to now have the same tranny. I think this is more of a stress on the tranny than it is on the engine.
Add to it that diesels at $12k sell in hours, while V10 at $9 k sit on lots for months.

They aren't asking the V10 guys. (local dealer has a list of guys wanting to buy a decent 7.3 so they never even get them on the lot, just call up the first guy on the list and it's gone)
Well this is changing locally.
about 2 months local Ford Dealer traded for a 01 PSD and a 02 V10. both 4x4s both F250s both extended cabs. the PSD was priced $3k higher, the V10 is still on the lot (PSD was gone in a week)
That PSD was gone in a week because it was the 7.3 and guys want them for their reliability even though they can't pull like the diesels that came after them.
6.4L ....... Pretty standard with no DPF and a good tune.
And how long can you hold the pedal to the floor with 12K behind it at that power level? I can bolt on a nitrous bottle and add 300HP - but not for long

You are using a website, which I personally have refuted, having actually physically OBSERVED the posted prices at the gas station three blocks from my house.
But because I drive a FORD Superduty with a gas-powered engine, I'm lying.

You can stop now. This sort of "walking the thin line" has to stop. When someone SEES prices at a gas station, versus your website browsing, I'll take the personal reports over that website.
Because, as I said, the prices found on that website were NOT true for the station down the road from me. Did it ever occur to you that the gas station owners/operators are posting those prices to attract customers ?

Without knowing how much mileage or wear-and-tear was on either one, it would be a fun exercise to walk into that dealer when both trucks were there, and see which one the salesman pushed you towards
Matter of fact, post that dealer's location in the V10 forum, and someone will go and ****** it up in a heartbeat. If there's nothing wrong with it ....
