Yeah BS that you avg 15 mpg. You might have gotten that mpg on a stretch of road but there is no way you avg that since you have owned that truck.

Well I know they will, since I had a 2000 GT with nitrous on it and I left the kit on the stang and they replace two engines and 3 tranny's under warranty.
Sounds like Fraud to me.

Where in the hell have I ever said I averaged that since I owned the truck?
That's my unloaded highway MPG.Our V10 4WD Excursion gets close to the same mileage on the highway-it actually gets closer to 16. I've posted my economy numbers several times in the past, and it's dead-on consistent.

When someone post their mpg that is usually what they avg. And in your post earlier you post the gas price and 15 mpg. So really you didn't say hwy either.

Where I live, most of my driving is highway,so it is actually my average-most of the time.
The least it ever gets not towing is 12,and that's with me beating to snot out of it. Driving sensibly when towing my car trailer and the Tbird on it, it'll get 11-12,and 8-10 towing the 33' Travel trailer.

I've learn there are some v-10 owners think the v-10 is superior to all and will make up all kind of stories just to make the v-10 sound better. Like this one guy said he beat a charger srt8 on the hwy with a 01 v-10 when he added a throttle body spacer.

Yeah one trip? I'm talking about the time you have owned the truck. There is no one here can avg 15 mpg on a v-10.

Yeah, i dont think JL has any reason to lie about it. If he was claiming mid 20's then i could understand you throwing the bs flag. But 15 mpg, come on. I'm sure he can get that with the right driving habits. I know that my truck is capable of 20+mpg, but most of the time i get 15-16 mpg because i drive the hell out of my truck and it idles quite a bit.

You never know but you are from SE Texas and I know there aren't many hills down there. So on the highway you probably do avg that. When you put down 15 that is what I thought you avg the life you owned the truck.
