as soon as im finished with my medical discarge ill take you up on the v10 vs 7.3. im gunna be driving cross country with my gooseneck. im gunna put the stock injectors back in for the trip. plus i have the 6 pos chip with stock as a setting. i just find it really hard to beleave that the 7.3 could only get 26 mph. what was the gearing in the trucks? yes i do believe it. i saw the video, just doesnt make any sense.
why? you wanna race with a trailer full of steers and queers lol. just kidding, little bit of bushmills irish wiskey makes the meds go down lol. no, probly not. i think im just gunna head up to 80 and shoot across
Somehow I doubt Mike would be willing to spend the money to change to 4.10s simply to prove a point, however.
If I could find someone who knew what they were doing to help me install them for a case of beer I would do it. And I would probably go to 4.56 since I'm running 33's.

If you're going across I80 to PA I'm about 1 1/2 hour about of your way. You can hit the same hill we did (called Buffalo Hill) and try it for yourself.

That would be a fun idea. I'd have to see about coming down for that!

If y'all do that, youtube the pulls like the last test.
Make sure you get his reaction when the 7.3 loses to the V10.
I have my doubts about how the 7.3L with the stack performed in the test. Both mine and my dad's truck have pulled over 15,000 pounds many times and have never had that much trouble on hills. I LIKED the test you guys did, but think the 7.3L results are suspect. Would be great if someone from the forum did the test with another 7.3L.
Not our truck and trailer, but an example of what we pull (dad does for a living)
You have to understand the hill we're talking about is steeper than anything I've ever seen in Wisconsin. The truth is that I never saw a hill that steep in Ohio until we did the first comparison in Millersburg. It's roughly 15% at the steepest part of the hill, which is more than twice as steep as the worst highway grade in the US.
This is why my truck had problems with wheelspin, even though we had ~1,200 lbs on the tongue.
