Re-polished the cab today with this 3M compound, what a difference in shine, then started to wet sand the tailgate. Going to have to wait another week to get my glass installed, I was sent the wrong rubber for the back window..
Wouldn't be to happy about that, my rear window rubber is really dried out, not much I can do about it tho.
3M stuff must be good, going to have to hunt it down when I get my real project painted.
This was bought from the Old Car Center 2 years ago and just discovered it yesterday when I opened the bag and uncoiled it. The Old Car Center is very good to deal with and are going to exchange it and reimburse me for the shipping as well..
When I do the rear window on my project I'm going to go to a smaller one as most of it will be blocked off one way or another. Was it expensive to get it cut
I was surprised how easy it is to install a rear window. I watched a video on you tube and then the wife and I went out and installed the window, it went in just like it did in the video.
