I really hate those horse sized needles, at least they look that big to me!

I asked my dentist about that one day. I said with all the advances why are the needles so big.

He said it was because of the cartridge they put in them. I guess the needle part is pretty small though.

I just hate needles, the one at the dentist and the arterial blood gas test needle are a real nightmare for me and I do all psych tricks to put them out of my mind.

I forgot about your dog, I can give shots but have to distract myself when getting them. Flu shot is no problem.

When I have to get a blood test I`m ok...if I look away and the technician is good.

Well sort of. There is a bit of a story behind it though. There is an older lady that will take your little card with the number on it. I would always ask where my cookie was because I was getting a shot. Last year she brought me some cookies. This year I handed her some and she had more for me. Very nice lady with a good sense of humor.

They always ask us to wait 15 mins after the shot. We never have.

Haven't fallen over but 2 years ago I stretched out and closed my eyes, someone thought I was unconscious, caused some concern and a dirty look or 2
