Sorry to hear about your mom, Grant, and your wife's brother Morris.

It's nice to have time to post on the forum. Lately I've been browsing the 2017 Super Duty forum or the 6.2 forum because I want a new Super Duty with a 6.2. We'll see if that happens some time next year...

So far the Coopers are alright. I am usually a Goodyear Duratrac guy, but they were about $90 a tire more. Time will tell how well they do. I think they might need to be re-balanced because they got a shimmy on certain roads at about 120km/h or faster. I think BFG KO2s will be my next tires.

Good evening everyone, was planning on washing and putting the panel away for the winter today but that will have to wait until tomorrow. We decided to take a trip into Dryden today for a cup of coffee and to enjoy what will likely be the last ride in it for this year, can only hope for an early spring now.
Sorry to hear about your mothers decision Grant but she knows what she is facing and anyone I know that has been on Chemo says it is horrible, my sister refused her last treatments too, she is still around but doesn't speak with me for some unknown reason.

Sorry to hear about the illness in your families Grant and Morris.
Haven't see the PFR in years Morris, was one of my favorite shows, most people thought I was a real geek for watching it, to bad for them.
Got the white on the truck and hoping for 1 more good day before the temperature drops. It goes to highs between 1 and 5 and lows of -3 to -7 for a week or so
Looks like it's shelter building time this week while I wait for the transmission parts to come in, maybe I'll be able to start on the project truck again by December

Good afternoon folks.
I used to watch the PFR, at times it was interesting but it is on Sat which is a bad time for me. Like you it looks like we have only a day or two before the temperature drops.
Hello Gerry, Ian, what's new?

Lost the weather at 2, started to rain lightly and will stay this way for another hour or 2. got the driver side done fender, door and cab back wall, cheated as I felt the chill and could see the clouds and sprayed it with rattle can as it sets up faster, was brushing on a detail at the bottom lip of the rocker, cab corner and fender when the rain started. That first drop sure felt heavy and wet. lol

There was a chance of showers, possibly a few flurries have been in our forecast but so far so good. Can you set up a temporary hoarding?
I hate cold rain.

Bylaw man would just love it if I set up hoarding, LOL. What I'll be doing is watching the weather and if we get a Chinook coming in, I'll tape off the day before and put the spray to it. Did that with my 78 dump truck and had the whole thing painted in 5 days over Xmas. This is how far I got

My door is a bit high it appears, but that's low on priorities, got the grill rocker guarded and will put that on along with a straight bumper.
Now to get back onto this transmission spring, time to order it in now that the paint cash flow is on hold, just going to need 3 or 4 more cans of black and thats it. I'll be maybe $110 into this paint and will still have sand paper, paint and tape left over.

My condolences for living in a major urban area with the bylaw boogie man hanging around. We have bylaws in this RM but they are few and not too restrictive.
How much for are the springs with a few spares?
Good evening John.

Good evening John, Morris
They're not that much, but with shipping and the exchange rate it'll probably cost me about a $100 or so for 2 sets. Have all sorts of detail jobs to do like rebuild the mirrors and paint them, finish the grill and inserts, glue light lenses back together and if there's a warm enough 2 hour period, clear coat the area I painted so that it looks better. List gets longer and the days get shorter, go figure LOL.

$100 for 2 sets is ok, especially considering how hard those springs are to find. Hopefully it's in Canadian funds and not US.
My list gets longer as the days get shorter too.
The paint scheme certainly goes with the body lines nicely.
