I would never remember to log the hours anyways Colin
Me neither.
I am hoping that I can get the rear diff changed out on my 50 this fall yet and would also like to do some body work on it. I have a long list but those two are at the top of it.
Hope everyone is having a good day.
Thanks Perry, I`ve always really liked Louisville trucks and I`ve had 4 of them over the years. Your 78 is a neat looking truck.
That 78 sounds like a good one, hopefully you get it and the 73 as well.
How hot was it in Tennessee John?

I need figure out a better set up for both rad hoses, the rad shop I was dealing with weren`t too helpful. Also need to mount the Mustang gas tank at the back of the frame like I did with my 56 M100, more re wiring, get a better set of front fenders and some other things. I guess that it`s not all that far off being driven.
What rear diff are you putting in your 50 Colin?
Decided to take the day off as we're having a temperature drop and it's a wet job I have to do next.
Hope this truck deal comes through as I've got some heavy yard clean up to do and I want to get a basic box on the flat deck truck. going to run 2 versions, 1 will be 1" plywood with barn doors for bulky loads and the other will be 18" of planking with a pull up tailgate for gravel, loam, slide on or lumber loads. Got a pic of the trailer hitch and it's strong enough for a 12'- 16' dump trailer, maybe I'll need to start chasing a bobcat or a back hoe. 10 k and a trip to the auction would take care of that and I'll be able to raise my rates.
The adventure never ends does it.
Nice to have a different truck for different jobs Perry, that`s why I had to two Louisville 8000 trucks.
I have a few rear ends from the 60's early 70's F100 trucks and I was going to put one in my 53 but I`m afraid that taking off from a dead stop would be a real chore.
I had 3 molars removed today which involved some surgery so I`m not feeling real perky tonight.
My 78 dump saw maybe 3000k a year, work truck, only used it when needed. It's the one getting changed into an RV puller, tourist truck, about a tooney size spot of rust on it in total, virtually rust free cab and front clip, bumper. My 75 sees maybe 3000 miles a year, for me right now, I'm better off walking, because I'm in saving, reinvesting mode I'll take the bus or get a ride to where I need to go, only use the truck when I need it.
The next time I go to the dentist Morris it'll be the end of my uppers. Been taking these inhalers so long that my teeth are dissolving, as soon as the dentist locks onto these teeth they shatter. I've used my picks and removed a couple of them myself, no pain as its like picking out sand where the roots were.
Good morning folks, we have a nice forecast, dry and fairly warm.
I just heard that fuel prices may climb with news of OPEC possibly agreeing to cut production. Hopefully investments start climbing too.
Good evening folks
Weather is still hanging in there but we got rain on the way Morris.
Ears are still ringing from cutting, clothes are filthy from the slurrey mix cutting produces, par for the course. Laundry goes to the laundromat down the street as all this sand and grit chews up wash machine pumps. To bad for them.lol
