You can adjust ICP with a defuser 18K. I have one with a hypertec 3 programmer but have seen no fuel mileage gain. the best part is that it has not gone down either. The best thing to do is search for "real peoples" fuel mileage gains with other programmers to see what is the best. I like Tony Wildman chips because he programs them per truck and I am sure he has got a lot of people asking for a fuel mileage setting. I want to get one of his chips myself but $$$$$ is to tight right now.
i have a super chips tuner, programed back to stock a few months back when the trany went out, ford installed trany #5,have not reprogramed, sence i didnt noticed much differance, guess ill try it again to see what happens ,$$$$ is tight for me too
well my results are in and its not good. like i said i am only making 1-1.5LPM and i dont think this is enough. my truck has got a low fuel milage of 15.5 and a one time high of 18.3 and average high is more around 17.5. for some reason my 15.5 is in the winter and 17.5 is in the summer. for the last few tanks i have been about 17.3 and this full run with HHO i was at 16.3. this may be because it has cooled off a lot here the last week or so. Now i am running a tank with out HHO again to see milage to get a good before and after. if i get 16.3 then i will say that i just need more HHO BUT if i get 17.3 i just might throw the thing away LOL. we will see what happens.
my results arent much better, sence my last post 9-10-08 the fuel tank switch went out, topped off again9-16,11.17 mpg, picked up new switch today, install tonight .i reinstaalled superchip programer on tow safe, to see what happens
Doug the first 2-3 sentences would have been fine to answer my question. Thanks for the explanation. I am just an auto mechanic not a scientist. By the way Diesels (until 06-07) don't have anyway to stop the air flow. They can take in as much as they want. everything is controlled by how much fuel you put in. More fuel the RPMs go up less fuel they come down. I have an 01 power stroke so if i add hydrogen to the system the rpms will want to come up, the computer sees that then slows down the injector pulse width and puts in less fuel to bring the rpms back down. in the end that makes less diesel in the cylinder so better fuel mileage. not to mention burning all the fuel by adding hydrogen creates more power so the computer puts in less fuel again and more MPG.
Do you know if my 05 6.0 will work the same way yours does? I can't find any info on if the 05 has a MAP or 02 sensor.
just topped off tanks today,f/tank 170.9 mi. 15.5 gal.-11.03 mpg, r/tank 160 mi. 12.12 gal.-13.20 mpg total miles 330.9 total gal. 27.62 over all mpg 11.98

What year/engine do you have? I wonder if your computer is what is killing your MPG gains?
yes it does ,and i built a map enhanser, its adjusted just this side of turning the check engine light on ,also have super chip tuner installed, dont know if i need to get anew enchanser
I checked this weekend and my 05 does have a MAP sensor but no O2 sensor. I don't know if I need a MAP enhanser or not. I realy can't find any info as to if it is needed. Has anyone noticed a difference with or without an enhanser?
Ok, newbie here. I have did quite a bit of research. I am about to take on the daunting task of building my first HHO smack booster design. More of the first science project on the use than anything. Things I have learned (read) is that is NaOH NOT COMPATIBLE with PVC(KOH compatible) and no toxins produced. ABS is resistant to acids (KOH or sodium hydroxide) and has a temp ceiling of 158 deg F, which is higher than PVC and it is less expensive. I will be installing a PWM with the unit to control any heat. It will be an 8 cell design and I will wrap the plates to reduce the amount of loss and thus less heat and more gas. I would like some help on the minimum amount of HHO needed in the cruise range of 1500 to 2000 rpms. I remember someone doing the math, but I can't locate it right away. Thanks in advance for any advice. Oh, Ford PSD 6l.
