also, this just as a note. Pure oxygen is flammable by itself with an ignition source. Adding pure oxygen would be the equivelant of nitrous oxide on steroids. For example, take your lawnmower and youre acetelyn torch and turn on only the oxygen. waft it over the intake on the mower and see what happens..... vrrroooooooommmmm happens..
FYI!!! be carefull, if you get carried away, you WILL blow up your little 5hp briggs and straton, trust me

There is documentation all over the internet of people getting very good gains on Powerstrokes and other Direct injected diesels. I am seeing some gain with only 1.5lpm. I think it's just a matter of getting the system set up just right. I'm not giving up yet.

Biggest problem i see is the heat generated, does a p.w.m help? Also it looks like the amount of hho required to be of a benefit is rather high, correct?

It depends on how large the engine is. On a 6 liter engine I think you will need over 4 lpm. If you have a 3 liter or smaller 1.5 - 2 lpm should be fine and is easy to obtain. I'm working on a multi cell unit now that should make over 4. I'll let you know how it works.

I think with lower fuel cost wev'e gotten lax on making hho viable, remember the 70's.
High fuel prices will be back and wan't go away sooner or later. But if hho is a myth i guess it needs to be proven and put away.

Hi all, I seen an articale in a Power Deisel magazine the new Febuary 2009 issue they installed a HHO kit in a Ford deisel plus they had afew different online sites that sold the HHO kits.I checked them out ,the prices of them are a low as 340.00 and go up to 2000.00. Has anyone checked these sites out and maybe contacted the companys to see how they hook them up?I do have 2 web sites that sold these kits.Am I alowed to post a link to thoose sites?

what about the o2 sensors?? the ecu will compenstae for the xcess of o2 going out or the engine...what about a map/maf controller to trick the ecu by lowering voltage thus less o2 induction??

tanx in advance

I have read the O2 sensor tries to over ride the HHO by injection more fuel.

There were some people talking about ways to trick the O2, but since the IDI does not have the O2 sensor, I just glanced over what they said.

any thoughts on tapping into the map hose ,by running a hose to the bottom of the gen. so when the rpms go up you would reduce the pressure to the map sensor thus reduce signal to pcm should mean less fuel ? the bleed-off would bubble up throgh the gen. to help push the hho to the intake. i'm playing around with it to see if it helps

How have you not given up?

Just wondering if there is any reputable data showing an increase in mpg using HHO yet?

oh wait.... of course there isn't!

Why don't you convert to vegetable oil or use biodiesel, that stuff will actually save you lots of money and DOES work.
