Should of checked out the blue/silver one in KC a while back, like $3500?
Its getting very hard to say no, but at these prices I still can. Is this a good price?

Rear door panels. tan in color. dirty but can be cleaned.
front door panels to match again dirty but can be cleaned.
both rear doors. one has a dent the other is pretty good shape.
rear bench seat. torn up but brackets are good.
I got a cream color 79' crew cab parts truck. cab is rusted badly. rear doors gone. but has front parts. all front interior is still in the truck, headliners, dash is complete. black interior. pretty good shape.
I have a 76 crew no cab, bed is rusty but got tons of random parts.
anything you guys might need let me know. cheap because both trucks are going to the junkyard very soon.

Hello ,hey are you in forks because i saw one in forks,WA the in the same lay out?
yes, i live in forks. I live right next to the school, pretty high traffic area lol.
There is one other crew cab running around town, hes got a 79 short bed, 4wd on 39.5s is all black.
Im putting my crew cab body on my 79 long bed, and bobbing the bed down.
Made HUGE progress. im almost ready for paint. all 4 doors are painted, and the cab is close to finished on the body work. only had to repair the drip rails and one small dent. Hoping i can have it painted, finished and ready to be swapped on wednesday.

i dont have a wagon, lol. unless it was someone visiting while i was working. the only yellow one i also know of is the one i have, but its not at my house and its been parked in a backyard for about 17 years lol. I only recently got my crew cab, about a week ago.
Make things easier. I was originally going to put the cab on my 2wd f150 chassis and bob the bed. BUT after looking at this, the crew cab frame, dana 60 front axle divorced t-case and all the steering and parts are in tact.
I have a clean, 6ft bed. a clean cab, a good running 351m, a good c6, a good front clip. all on my 2wd 78. So Im just going to drop the clean 6ft box, the cab, my motor, my front clip, and all parts onto the crew cab and just restore the truck.
From what i see, i need, U joints in all drivelines, wheel bearings on 1 side, brake pads, front brake hoses, rear brake hoses, a gas tank which i have in my truck, a motor, trans, which i have already. and a better front clip. so with very little work i will have 4wd, a clean box, a good cab and fresh clip for less work and not that much cash.
Tomorrow im going to buy all the chassis parts i need and get it rolling, and start swapping motors.
78_f150 how did you go about fixing the roof rust? I see you said that you welded up the drip rails but did you have any rust along the edge of the roof sheet metal? Any pictures of that fix?

the rust holes which were pretty small, were not down in the drip rails, but just above in the actual roof sheet metal. what i did was grind it all down, and took my welders on low heat and just tacked the holes shut. there was probably 5 little single tack holes and a couple little bigger ones. then i ground it smooth with the grinder, checked again for any small holes and i did have to tack a couple more ground it down and then i took some bondo and filled it and sanded it. overall it was probably an hours worth of work.
