Ranger, why are you selling it? Now you can get another one of these projects!
Another one? No, I'm a few years away from 50. It's time for me to retire from building these.
I'm selling it because my son is playing travel baseball and we end up going away for a lot of weekends and long distance tournaments so I'm in the market for a 35-37' motorhome.

With your talent and as good job as you do you cant retire from it plus you know its in your blood youll build another..
That being said i wish i had the $$ cause i could work on my crew for ever and a day an couldnt do half the job.
Any-1 in the market for one this is it boys!!

I've already done 3 of these trucks. It's time to sit back and spend some time with my wife and kids. I've spent countless hours in the garage away from them.
Scott, I did not think you would sell it, but I can relate to it, my son is at the same stage w/ the baseball travel team...it came out great, good luck w/ the sale...

Thanks.
Yeah you are right about that. Heck I'm 34 and I can hardly do anything on my truck because the wife is always after me about spending to much time! I told her I have to spend sometime on it or I cant get anything done.

I know how that is, I get to work on mine for maybe an hour at a time unless i wait until the kiddos are asleep then i dont catch as much over it.

I'm to lasy to read the past 1K plus comments but was wondering if anyone could help me with alittle future project!
I looking for info on taking a 74/75 crewcab and placing the cab onto a LWB Highboy chassis; What's the differences on the cab mount location and I assume I would beable to use a short bed on the Highboy chassis?
Any comments or thoughts would be appericated!
I recently place a 76 F150 complete body onto a 74 Highboy chassis; only challenge was; relocating the front cab mount & redrilling back cab mount thru frame, drilling new holes in bed floor; and F150 fuel tank, was my hick-ups.
Just wondering about cab & bed bolting issues; is there a rise in the frame change I need to be concern with?
A LWB Highboy frame is 133 inch wheel base...a crewcab shortbed frame is a 150 inch wheel base....you will either have to stretch the frame or have a super super short bed....most people use a super cab 4x4 frame to do it...but it still requires a bit of fabrication work....good luck!!
