Hey Ranger429....You should make a template for your headliner after you get it all fitted and everything and sell it to all of us guys that need a headliner for our crews!! I would GLADLY pay for a pattern!!
You can do it out of "butcher" paper or the like. I know I've seen rolls of stuff about 5' wide. In fact I was walking on some at a job site today. The guys put it down on the wood/stone floors in new construction so the construction traffic doesn't destroy the stuff. The paper is then pulled up at the completion of the job. The only thing id I don't know how much the stuff costs or where to get it
FYI- There was a '78 F350 4x4 Crew on the Albuquerque Craigslist a few days ago if anybody's interested- the ad's still up. I'd probably go take a look if I hadn't just bought another SHO project. I don't know the seller or anything other than what's in the ad.
Please post the link to Craig's list and how much are they asking?
Don't know how to do a Craig's search altho bet it's not too hard to find out. Thanks,
Thanks Ranger, subscribed to this thread and the e mail I got didn't show your highlighted link. Truck is rusty and guy swears it's a 350??
Says the VIN shows it as a 350? Thoughts on this as I too understand, no 350s until 79? Could it be a late 78?
No, it would be a 79. Ask him for the VIN#, it should start with F26. All crewcabs were made on a regular cab F-250 chassis and were then sent to Canada to be modified into a crew. There never was an F-350 4x4 crewcab produced from Ford. If it is a 350 VIN# it has been converted over to a 4wd. If the VIN starts with F35 it was originally a 2wd F-350.
