I ended up loading mine on a transport trailer. Sold it to a guy in Pa.

The Bronco giving it some words of wisdom before they parted.

You suck

Just kidding It is just a shame to see such a nice truck gone so shortly after you finished it. I understand, though. I sold my regular cab because of lifes changing requirements

That's going to be cool when you are done. About 4-5 years ago, I was trying to find a crew cab to swap onto my regular cab frame. I had already redone everything, and this way, I would only have to redo the body. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one. Sold my regular cab, and now I have 2 old crews. Timing is everything...

hood is about 6ft tall. After i rolled the front axle under the truck realized we needed to go bigger. so the front is taller then the back, so i will have to modify and lift the rear end some more also. its coming along good! i cant wait to get it welded up and fit in the truck.

Here is a 76 crew with the top and bottom trim on the doors. I would imagine it is getting hard to come by.

I love that style of chrome (not racetrack) and spent forever hunting junkyards to get some for my regular cab. I don't think I will even attempt to get a set for my crew.

Nice find.

what is a good price on these trucks?

ok so i already have a 77 f150 but im looking at getting a 77 f250 crew cab from what i can tell in the pics its in good shape and it has a 351M in it which is the same as on my truck and has a flat bed so id have to at some point get another bed is it the same as any long bed? and what would be a good price cuz for the most part little rust as i can tell less then my 150 it has one cab corner bad roof looks to have just surface rust and a dent in the passenger side rear door which i know would be hard to find a door but i have a friend that would probably help me fix it. for cheap or free. so what is a good price on the 4 or 5k or like 3 or 2K?

This is what I started out with, just a normal 79 bronco, pervious owner drove it almost never had 40,000 on it.

Then went to the junk yard and bought the truck out of a crusher, befor it was crushed. Used it as the donor.

It did come with doors, the pictures came as an after thought.

Cut out the part thatmakes it a four door.

This part was taken to the scrap yard, it had a blown 460, 2WD, destroyed hood, and was a F-150 so it was junk.

The bronco was cut and streched 20 some odd inches.

It only took 8 hours to cut both rigs and weld them together.

I plan on splitting the tailgate and have it open like the excursions.

Enjoy! I plan on getting a deisle, NV4500, atlas transfercase, and D60 HP front axle. My next prokect consits of getting a crew cab and then a extended cab and making one ever heard of a 1979 f-350 mega cab?

Thanks for posting those. That isn't they way I had thought you combined the bodies (thought you added the bronco rear on the cab of the crew) but it seems to have worked well.

Nice truck!

I was going to do that but then I would have had to weld down the side of the body and if it warped I'd be in a ton of **** so it was easier doing it this way
