Finally finished getting power door locks retrofitted into my crew. No more contorting to get the rear doors unlocked!
Since I had already installed an alarm it only cost me about $30 for the actuators and relay kit.
Not having to reach back to unlock the rear doors must be very nice! How does your setup work? Do the driver and passenger front doors allow you to unlock all 4 or does only the front driver unlock all four?
Attention crew cab aficionados. I came across a 73 or 74 crew cab in So Cal the other day that is supposed to posted up for sale soon.
I don't recall if its a manual or automatic transmission, but it originally came with a 360 motor. It has a different motor in it now, not sure what it is. It has A/C and is pre-smog in CA. The asking price is reasonable ($4k). In my opinion, this is a great price for this in CA, especially if you want to do a diesel conversion.
Back slider window is broken on driver side but they have a replacement solid back glass sitting on the rear cab seat. There's a 78/79 front end on the truck with a new grill sitting on the back seat.
I didn't get a lot of pictures but got a bit of info from the seller. The previous owner died and this would be a lien sale. The cab floor has lots of rust but the truck comes with an entire crew cab floor section from a brown 79 donor truck that also supplied the bed and driver side door. The tailgate is there along with what looked like all other major parts.
Front axle is a newer disc brake dana 60 that is getting to the point of making this a rolling truck in the next few days.
PM me if you're a serious buyer and I'll get you the sellers phone number.

this trucks in San Bernardino I’ve seen it for a few years. Are they selling off everything?
I finally found a solid completely rust free low miles 79 F-250 4x4 CC. It's a Trailer Special with 62K original miles. Lots of documented info from the original owner and the Ford dealership that he ordered it at. Several special ordered options, like dual block heater, in-bed spare tire mount, hood lock, A/C which is still working great, carpet delete (rubber floor) dual batteries, HD Trans cooler, HD radiator (most of which comes with the trailer special trucks). Ordered and purchased in Oklahoma, then spent it's last 23yrs in Montana. Hasn't been on the road since 2004. Sat in "supposedly" the original owners son's garage (covered but open on one side which the front of the truck sat) since 2016, and only drove it around his ranch. I purchased it from a collector-so to speak! He had owned it for 3yrs and started to restore the truck but decided to buy a new building and start a new business so he was selling off like 40-50 trucks to raise capitol for the purchase of the new building. Truck runs and drives perfect. Very tight shifter column and tilt, just like you would expect from a low mileage truck. All original, from the exhaust to the radio. 2 doors were replaced due to some dents and bad window regulators...? So, I'm trying to decide how far to go with the resto!? The original paint is very faded on the front dog house and roof. Has some patina on the hood, down to the bare metal. I'm getting a Marti report on the truck just to see the numbers! Pics to come once I find the time to figure out "how to do", since the photobucket hi-jack!
