I just posted that one in the craigslist find of the week. Looks like we search for the same stuff.
Not a bad truck honestly. I like em a little rough around the edges.

Reason: forgot to add that it will be a 4x4
I have to replace the front tank on my 79 f350 2wd crew cab longbed. Will any of these tanks work? I am hanging a dana 60 under the front, I'm not sure if that changes anything about the tank. Also, my truck has the EEC stuff in the tank. Do I need to replace it? It was all junk, and it will be more stuff to purchase
I have a 78 crew cab in need of further refinement. Thought I would tackle the missing headliner. I have a oem standard cab headliner for templating that front and rear halves of the new one. I also have the 4 trim pieces for the standard cab. My crew still has the plastic center strip. Some questions to any that have been here before.
1) what does the center chrome trim piece look like that goes above the doors? I thought I could get more standard cab pieces and cut the corners off and splice something in?
2) what did you use for the headliner? I was considering some thin pegboard material without the holes.
3) what did you cover it with?
4) did any of you add speakers or anything else? I like the center overhead console in our suburban. It has place for garage door opener, sunglasses and courtesy lights. Maybe where the rear heater controls are some gauges could be swapped in.
Any thoughts or pics? Let em rip
I have only seen a white plastic piece used to cover the middle seam on a CC. I would think that the rear pieces that ge along the rear doors and along the back looks like the front door one?
Material to use and or to cover it with. Ideas below.
another option, worked well took a heat gun to the corners and formed right in....
Also... my old dodge ram charger and a very similar middle strip in it, 99 percent sure it would work and there still in every junkyard out there may try that... blazers may also have something similar but not sure....
