Three years ago I bought a 7.3L 2000 F350 Lariat Crew Cab 4 x 4 LB Dually , it was a Florida truck and in excellent condition with only 127,000 miles on it. I use it to tow my 5th wheel toy hauler in the summer and it's stored in the winters.
One thing I remember, or at least think I do was heavy duty trucks like this were sometimes equipped with dual tanks with fill tubes on both sides and fuel transfer capability or tank switch capability. Did I imagine this or did it exist and if it did could I retrofit my truck with a similar arrangement.
Note: I'm not interested in putting an aux tank in the bed of the truck I'm just curious about the "saddle" tank solution.
Has anyone had any luck finding rear door window regulators. I thought I could modify one from a front door, but it looks to be a real pain to get it apart and still be able to reassemble it into something functional. Hopefully I'm wrong?
I have read that the rears are same as the front just from the opposite sides. So rear dr uses front passenger.
I said off topic because of some cheesy brand trucks. Then someone posts a 2000 crew cab. Still off topic. These posts should be deleted or thread closed due to clutter. Is anyone in charge?
hey new to the forum i was wondering if the front ends are the same suspension wise on the 2wd dually trucks? i assume they are, since the dually stuff is usually aftermarket kits correct? im wanting to buy drop beams for it and not sure if the djm will work or not they just say 1965-1979 f100. thanks for the help
Yeah that's my first body, A for effort to the builder. Be prepared for the next SuperBronco to be even better. I already intend to go four-link, 8.3 Cummins and air brakes with a similar tube subframe...all of the lessons learned on the F100 Viking build and all the details will make their way into the truck.
