Nice truck Nodak. I can tell ya already. It's a keeper!
To be honest Coltin, I didn't buy it to keep, not really. I'm not really mechanically inclined, and I get very little time off during the summer. I don't need a full size truck, just about all the toys are gone now except for 3 atvs, and those are going soon I think. I bought it mostly because they were going to send it off to a farm auction, and I thought it was nice enough that it maybe should go to an enthusiast rather than being beaten as a work truck. I sold my obs powerstroke to a kid from one of the farms around here and I wince when I see it driving around, not because I don't own it, but in the short time he's had it, it's picked up a couple dents and the passenger side mirror is missing now for some reason. If I sell it, I'm not going to try and make a fortune, I got it for a reasonable price, and i'll sell it for a reasonable price, just hoping to it will go to someone who'll make it better than it is, or at least enjoy it as it is, not beat it into the ground in a couple years and send it off the back pasture when they're done with it.

That is great to hear. The crew cabs are coming extremely rare these days and it'd suck to see that truck be used as a farm truck. As long as you list it for what that truck is actually worth, it'll weed out anyone who is looking for a farm truck. The most frequent thing I hear about crews (or dent sides) is they're everywhere. Not hard to find! I live in the PNW (apparently they're just in every drive way here). Well, maybe they are more common in the PNW. I have yet to see a 73-79 Crew cab in my COUNTY. And I drive A LOT. I'm always looking in fields and on the roads. And Craigslist haha. I did find one Bump crew though. Anyways, make sure she finds a good home!
New to the site, I have a 1979 F-250 Crew Cab 4x4, with a first gen Dodge Cummins drive train. Twin turbo Cummins, g360 transmission, Dana 60 / 70. Just took it from a driver to a project to take care of the rust before it's too late... Parts of it are at the body shop the rest in my garage, it will be a long process. While the truck is apart for paint I will be getting rid of the g360 and replacing it with a NV-5600, other upgrades include completing the PAC brake install.
NoDak, that you found one in the Jamestown area amazes me.
I know several "collectors of all things Ford" around there and of all the people I know, there is one that is now on a Dodge 2wd chassis about 40 miles SE, and he has another one rusting in his 'spare parts' (pictured on page 215)
and there is another forum member here that has one, I've never met him.
Coltin, the guys over on the OldFordCrewCab Forum seem to be always posting trucks in the Yakima-Spokane area.
Funny you knew it was in Jamestown. Anyway I'm going to sell it is guess, it won't fit in the garage, I don't want to drive it in the winter so....Yeah it's gonna have to go.
I cheated. USDOT number on the semi plus google...
My wife is from there, but that doesn't help, all ND looks the same flat...
I know all about the garage size restrictions, mine will never be taller than 6ft 8", so I will always be able to park in my garage and heated shop which both have 7ft doors.
Stick a price on it, I'm sure that somebody here or on the Old Ford Crew Cab forum would be happy to own it.
I understand about the money classictruckman. But I used some money that was sort of earmarked for something else when I bought it and even though she likes the truck, the wife would like her money back.
