Hey just joined up. Bought my 77 c.c a few months back and it has about a 4'' lift and the pinion angle is really steep. I have had a few shops look at it and they've said it cant be changed because it would put the castor angle out and it wont steer right. any ideas how to fix this? I dont intend on doing a lot off off roading but would like it to work in the snow safely.

If you're worried about safety then leave it alone. Changing the castor angle with make it unsafe having an odd pinion angle will only make it vibrate which you can fix with a different driveshaft. But if the castor is good then your pinion angle should be fine it must just look funny.
Has anyone had any luck finding rear door window regulators. I thought I could modify one from a front door, but it looks to be a real pain to get it apart and still be able to reassemble it into something functional. Hopefully I'm wrong?
thinking about selling my 73 crew cab long bed project. as I have been into muscle cars for the last few years and the trucks been sitting in the garage and I don't see me getting to it any time soon, so I might as well let someone else enjoy it. it has 10 inches of lift 38.5" swamper boggers brand new, dana 60's with 5:13's Detroit locker in the front, spool in the rear, rear disc conversion, cross over steering set up, transfer case parking break conversion, currently 360 np 435 205 case have extras that could go with, 429 c6 extra 205, body needs cab mounts and floor pans but have them and can go with, 4 extra rear crew cab doors, double double monster roll bar, captains buckets from 79 bronco, and lots more. currently runs and drives but needs to be finished. truck located in southeastern pa. price will vary depending on what parts go with the truck but somewhere in the $6000 -$8000 range. where would be the best place to post this for sale as I have been out of the truck world for a few years. thanks Brandon 215-353-2053.

Best place to sell it is either Ebay or craigslist. Sounds like a good truck. Any pics? Hope you sell it.
Wyofordguy, there are a few rear door regulators on ebay right now but they are pricey. I have extra door parts but I'm not sure if I have any extra regulators. I know I just used a pair to piece together a set of doors so I can sell them. I'll look around to see what I have.
