Looks like a nice truck, from the pics. My biggest concern would be check the drip rails for any signs of rust or rust repair.

At $7,000 it is severely over priced having a junk engine and needing half the drive train rebuild, I'd keep looking. Unless you have enough money you don't care, but if you did you wouldn't have asked for opinions.

id look underneath the rubberized flooring in the pick up if possible specifically front floor boards or get under the truck and make sure theres no through rust. truck looks really straight and floor board replacements are cheap. i didnt check below the flooring until i tore it out of my truck and was in for a little surprise.. also rain drips for sure.

What have you guys done for brake lines and fuel lines? I'll be running all new lines for both systems n would like to do stainless or braided. I started a separate thread asking about pre bent lines as well
Thanks guys

I ran braided fuel lines on my '79 standard cab and they didn't hold up long to the elements and road salt in the winter. I would go stainless hard line.

If you can fab a box why not just stretch the frame and make it so it can accept a normal box?

How's your frame look, is it just a frame or a full rolling chassis?
