Bj bummer deal on the wrist, but that will give you an excuse to turn wrenches slower on your trucks for sure.
Work work, off work, take wife to dinner in town. Oops have to stop by Wally World 1st for some grocery stocking up before we go get the grand daughter in Greenfield tomorrow...of course right after I get off work.
To keep this in the realm of Ford trucks I'll attach a pic or two:
Let me give you a quick anecdote about Jan, who owns the blue '32 5 window hot rod. b-t-w; Jan is a highly shortened version of his name which is several syllables long. He told me what it is one time but as that's been more than 5 minutes ago I don't remember what it is. Jan and Brenda (the wife) were in their kitchen when Jan mentioned how Brenda liked to spend money on shoes and that she had many many pairs. The kitchen has the door to their garage. Brenda opened the garage door and didn't say a word. There crammed into their garage were three, yes I said three, 1932 Ford hot rods. All of them were as nice as the blue one in these pix. Conversation ended and Jan never again mentioned women's shoes. Again, to keep this in the realm of Ford trucks I wish he had driven his Model A roadster pickup. Then all the vehicles in the pix would have been Ford trucks.
While I'm at it let me give you a short history of Bob's Model A panel truck. His son, when he was younger and single, had and raced a 305 class winged sprint car. He was pretty good, too. Won quite a few races. When he got married he retired the sprint car and all of the midget racers. That 305 cu in engine is now in the green panel truck and other than running on gasoline instead of alcohol it's pretty much the same engine that Gavin raced with. That's one seriously bad a$$ panel truck.

It is a big deck, bigger than what we envisioned. But the concrete wall in the pic is where the old foundation was that we back filled when building. We bought a place that had burnt. House was up to installing sheetrock and burnt down. Trees were 6 ft tall in the ashes in the basement when we bought it. We wanted to cover up the back filled part is kinda why it is so big.
On another Veterans Day Note. My brother in law had this posted on his facebook page about his son and our nephew. If I remember correctly, the target he got was on one of those cards in the deck they had. I had never seen this thought in might be interesting to some of you other Veterans.
deer hunting tomorrow.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I feel like I should have something significant to post but I'm not in the fast lane anymore.

My Son In Law, daughter's husband in Chicago, told me I needed to watch "Landman". So I'm starting to watch it now. Seems pretty good so far.
Weather is suppose to be nice this weekend so hopefully I'll knockout anything left to do out side.
my powder coater just had a hip replacement so hes out for a bit. I dont have much patience for body work/filling so i force myself to do couple hours a day. Did put up another led in my makeshift paint booth today. At this rate itll be christmas before i get to shoot paint! Yall be careful in the deer woods!
Then Penny and I picked up the older grand daughter for the weekend. Stockton Sonic for late dinner and back to the house.
Have a great day youins!
Too bad we couldn't have switched places Atch. I was there last weekend. Hope it's a bit warmer for you.
I hear ya Rich on the Loss of a friend. I had a unit in OIF that lost 5 soldiers. Facing the Family Readiness Group and those poor parents was brutal. I was older than some of the parents and had kids older than those that were killed. While I attended all their funerals I've never gone back to their gravesites. Just too painful.
Guess I better get after it. Not sure what I'll do but there's no end of things to be done. Enjoy your weekend.
