Big round of appreciation for the vets out there.

I'm still plugging away on the bathroom cabinet. I'm glad that this is the only section that has drawers because they're a pain. Give me shelves any day.

There's 15 tons of gravel waiting for me to spread at the front of the driveway this weekend.

Evening Everyone!

Rich. I broke down and bought the block and tackles and disassembled them. I got the main winch line installed and the travel stops in on the gantry. I just need to fab up the mechanism for the power slide in and out. It's not gonna be done before we leave for the Banquet tomorrow, but I should be REALLY close. As far as the gaskets go, I think I used the windshield gasket. The other ones should be doors and window fuzzys.

He's the gantry crane so far. It won't look much different, but it should be easy to operate.

X2 "Thank you for serving our country" to the vets and welcome home to those that did not get a proper "Welcome Home" when they sure did deserve it.

Good morning and Happy Veterans' Day a day late, thank you for your service. After my fussing on here the other day about Veterans deserve a month of recognition, I heard on the radio November is Veterans' Month.

Well it's afternoon already,
Didn't get home until after 7PM from Chicago yesterday. Had a nice get together with some of the ole crew on Veterans Day. Saw some folks I haven't seen in 15-20 years. Of course found out some folks had also passed away that I knew nothing about. A lot of folks with cancer. But several had beaten it too.
Kinda hard getting into the groove of being home. Had therapy this morning and have just been running errands until now. Decided it was time to come home and grab something to eat.
Not sure why but I didn't know you were a hunter Joe. I gave up deer hunting when I couldn't eat a whole deer myself and no one would take the rest. I now know if you just keep the back straps and steaks and have the rest made into summer sausage or deer jerky EVERYONE will take that.
Kinda funny: when planning out drill weekends for the Guard; Mother's Day and Deer hunting season were both NoGos if you were wanting to use that weekend.
Well I better russel up some lunch.

Well what a day at work...enough said abut that. So I am working on getting the 60gal air compressor back in the air compressor room with the new 4" concret floor. Ok so I have to remove a bottom storage shelf. Or just cut off enough to be able to get the compressor in its place. Done.

Ok so moving the tank ever so carefully, I break the drain line (at the elbow) that is in the bottom of the tank. Got that broke piece out and got a new brass elbow. Ok so now that set up is to short to be able to get the ball valve handle to move full swing.

So got that fixed, new rubber pad and new mount pallet. Let me test fire it before I hard mount it. Now it is dumping the belt...gesh I quite for the day.

Rich, I just put a fitting in the bottom drain hole and ran a small hyd hose up about waist level and put the valve there and the drain hose going outside, eventually!!!! also tied in my water separator drain into it also with a valve. Can drain both with a 1/4 turn. WITHOUT HAVING TO CRAWL UNDER THE TANK.

evening all:
Late to the party, but thanks to all who served or are serving. Your sacrifices protect our freedom. Rich I've had those compressor problems x ten. Wow thats quite a deck! Wish I'dve thought to put a protective coating on top of joist like you did! Got my new radiator installed. Leaked like a sieve so did it again the next day. Gonna go pick up couple more led lights for the shop to use in my tarp paint booth. Problem is the tarps block the other warehouse lights. Been doing body work on couple pump panels and hope to spray them next week. I'm getting better at it but its a slow learning curve. If I wouldve started at age 5 I might be good at it by now!

Dave it is a older Charge Air Pro 60 gal 6 HP, and as long as I have had it, and for the VERY little bit of $ it cost me up front, along with the next to NO trouble I have had out of it overall. I am sticking with this one, it is just testing my patiance. I will wip it in to shape or turn it in to a pile of scrap and a 60 gal BBQ grill.....

Moose thanks for the drain line routing idea. I got a long enough piece of pipe to get the ball valve outside the feet/base ring now. But yes I am not going to add on to it like you did. The ol monster deck is looking good, maybe you will put a old Ford truck back together some day.

Morning all,
WOW Bruce that's a DECK! It's bigger than my patio. Also that's a great idea about the drain line and valve.
Dave2 you better get with it, we've got a couple of 70+ days coming up. I thought you had all your stuff powered coated?
I always begrudgingly put up Holiday stuff so since Jan passed I live at the Grinches house.
I've about given up on the Therapy and my hand. For those that know it feels numb like when you really hurt yourself but the pain hasn't kicked in. Fingers are like I'm wearing heavy gloves and I can't unscrew a water bottle with my left hand. Maybe with time it'll get back to pre wrist break shape. I'm just hoping age isn't causing this.

Hey RC pipe in here ole friend. Gotta do a buddy check every now and again.

Get out there and do what ya do. Maybe I'll do the same.
