You're gonna miss Lambert's; you probably already do. I live well over three hours from either Lambert's location. One of the nice things about coming to the OMR is stopping there on the way home.

Morning all,
Just got back from a VA appointment at John Cochran. I forgot how much fun it is to travel down town in rush hour traffic.
Not sure what I'll do today but I've still got plenty here to do.
Take Care and be safe.

Afternoon Everyone!

I'm trying to get this tire crane done. The further I get, the more little details I want to add to make it more user friendly. My biggest fear is giving it back and later hearing, "Why didn't you do this?".

Maybe THIS time? This 'Cloudfare' thing was down this morning. I kept getting an 'error message' from them saying it was down. It said MY system was okay & FTE was okay &that the problem was that thing. Wanted to post a couple for Rich (even though they're NOT pink). Maybe it's fixed now??No photo description available.May be an image of ‎jeep and ‎text that says '‎קדחם BOS THE 1969 FORD BOSS BRONCO Ford VIN U15GLF31817 Kar-Kraft Engineering Project #178-D-462 Built By Bill Stroppe Kar-Kraft Engineers 302 ননসা BOSS ORIGINAL BUILD FEATURES Blueprinted 1969 GT350 351 CID Engine High-Performanca Transmission sion Limited Slip Differentlals Front Rear Stroppe Front Rear Dual Shocks Stroppe Power teering Conversion Stroppe Padded Roll Bar Fender Flares Cougar Elimina nator ator Hood Scoop Ten Inch Wide Chrome Wheels mBe.osk NE 門はだ Se‎'‎‎

Got some new stairs put up and a decent buck. Back to work for me tomorrow and my deer season will be over since I work this Saturday……it doesn’t seem right that I have more 6 day work WEEKS than I do DAYS of vacation in a year ☹️

Evening folks, I got the compressor motor dropped off to the repair/rebuild guy. Come to find out he is a Vietnam vet, X Huey mechanic. So we got to talking about helicopter maint, M60 machine guns, M134 mini guns and 2.75 rocket pods. I was there way longer than planned, but cool to talk to a guy that understands trigger time.

Cameron nice deer stand condo, and nice 10 or 11 pointer.

Morning all,
Just got back from therapy. This sure cuts in to my truck time.
Went to John Cochran (Downtown) for a bone density test yesterday, still no results. Gotta go back to JC Friday for a dermatology appointment. My provider said they updated my lab request so I'll try to knock that out and get a flu shot both while I'm there.

In my 34 years of working at the VA (oops; now DVA, Department of Veterans Affairs) I had one weeklong meeting at JC (John Cochran) and a one-day meeting at JB (Jefferson Barracks). For the weeklong meeting they put us in a hotel out by the airport. That's about 14 miles from JC; or 45 minutes driving time in rush hour. I saw enough big city rush hour in that week to convince me I'll NEVER live in, or even near, a big city. Sherry, on the other hand, lived in Chicago and its 'burbs all her life until we got married in 2004 when she was 50 years old. She still misses the city.

For any of you who didn't know JC and JB are in St. Louis proper. JC right close to downtown and JB overlooking the Mississippi River south of downtown.

Atch I hear ya on that one, I do not want to ever have to "live" in town, near town or inside any city limits, or ever have a HOA.

Went to a specialist today. I should be the hand model who's hand won't lay flat. A hereditary afliction, can't remember the name, starts with a R. Got an injection at the base knuckle, right hand index finger. That finger was numb for a couple of hours. Half expected to see it drooling like it just left a dental appt. Small finger, same hand will require surgery with a minimum 6 week recovery. Need to get it done, only opens about 90* from my palm. It has become more of a liability than an asset. Will have to clean out the company service truck. He won't let it sit at my house unused for 6 weeks.
This is my 2nd straight year sitting out of deer season. My hunting buddy of 30 years was too sick to go last year and died earlier this year, just wouldn't be the same. Have been stuck on public land since the family homestead sold 35ish years ago. Was starting to be like real work anyway.
Time to move further out in a few years. Starting to resemble s st louis of 37 years ago before we moved out to High Ridge. Probably going to relocate closer to the boy in Bourbon. Have daughters in Co and MI. My wife hates winter, kinda rules those out. Acreage is still cheap in the U.P.

Old & Soft hate to hear about your hand issues. This hand/wrist recovery is more than I want to deal with. Hope everything works out for the best.

There's a car show at the fairgrounds this weekend.
That's all I saw of the sign as I was driving by it.
