Good morning WA...Happy Saturday #2...gonna have some rain moving in here this afternoon...could turn to white tomorrow...up to 10" locally. Just MA Nature letting us know who the boss really is!!!
Check out this thread...time for a new Chapter Leader in Washington after the passing of Yahiko. Let them know what you think.
Rod, Now exactly as planned, but close. Coffee was good, I got all the meters read and did some visiting along the way, worked on the garden bed, chipped up a pile of pruning's. I never made it into the shop for any length of time and didn't make it downtown, maybe today. I did manage to drink a couple of beers at the end of the day!
It is supposed to get up to 70 plus this afternoon, and then cool down into the fifty's tomorrow.
Another gorgeous day here today, 82F but the cold and rain is supposed to come back later in the week. Yes, the trees, and everything else is coming back to life. I noticed today my yard art tree has actual leaves on it already. The irrigation water is back on and it's time to go out and fire up the sprinkler system, make sure everything stays living.
Good morning WA...Happy Hump Saturday!!! WOW...82*...and...here...we're expecting a "wintry mix"...up to 4" of it. Just MA Nature letting us know who the boss really is???
Mornin' everyone, cooler and cloudy here today. The rain they said was coming with the cooler temps is here a day early. No wetness yet but the skies sure look gloomy. Highs today expected to be mid 50's, (a 25 degree swing from yesterday) and cooler tomorrow. That's ok, we could use a little moisture and we'll make the best of it.
Good morning Wayne, What's on your agenda for today?
Good afternoon. Seeing as how I'm still working for a living, when I'm not goofing off here on the forum, I'm a Realtor helping people fulfil their American Dream. I've been working on overseeing the refurbishing of a house for an out of town client getting it ready to go on the market. We were scheduled to have professional photos taken this afternoon, but about 4 hours before she was to show up I get a call telling me the house had been egged overnight, so off I went to wash the house this morning. The fun never ends.
Fortunately the rain held off and other than being colder and cloudy, it was a fairly decent day. Wind is picking up now
this afternoon. Not sure if we cracked much above the 52 we started at at daybreak.
The wind came up this morning, so we put off burning the brush. Worked in the shop, worked in the yard, the wind calmed down so we burned the brush.
Decided to cook dinner in the coals!
Fingerling potatoes Chicken sausages with feta cheese and spinach. The pit. Waiting for them to get cooked. Dinner is done, just relaxing by the coals!
