Sunny Saturday afternoon Washington, Tim, Wayne, Ken, Steve and all the crew. After this week's rains, the Ohio River is flooding in the critical flood range.
After the yard dries a little, I will be mowing for the 4th time and weed whacking!
Evening Tim. Chilly here but was in the shop most of the time. Glad I am not paying someone for the stuff I do!
That's the way most if not all my machine shop projects go.

Got a pretty good shake here yesterday morning caused by the 4.8 earthquake in Joisey...I don't suppose you guys felt it though.
Tim...are lumber prices still astronomically high???
I don't really know, they seem kinda of high but everything these days are high. I believe Washington has one of if not the highest fuel prices in the nation.

I mowed our yard for the first time a couple of days ago, it didn't really need it but there a lot of Maple seeds still on it after Maria racked it.
Here is our load of posts, minus the one I already have removed. We are going to line the inside with some metal flashing to keep treated posts from leaching into the garden.
Evening Tim. Good to see all the growing space you have. I can't understand why more folks don't grow their own food if they are physically able! Spring sure is a beautiful time of year.
Good morning WA...Happy Sunday!!! Gonna be a decent day here in the Northeast...hope you're getting one as well!!!
I'm really looking forward to the Solar Eclipse tomorrow...we'll see about 94% totality. Many of us probably won't be around for the next one in August of 2044. MA Nature sure does put on some great shows...no charge!!!
Tim...what do you and Maria typically grow in your garden???
Joyous sunny Sunday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne, Ken, Steve and all the crew. Started the day at 28° but we are headed to a sunny 65°. As for the Eclipse tomorrow, we are in the 90 something % area but we are also expected to be partly cloudy through the afternoon.
Tim, it looks like you have the raised bed well under control. As far as mowing, every time I have mowed, it was necessary because I would lose a Chihuahua in the grass.
Ken, We grow Shallots, Onions, Garlic, Potatoes, Carrots, Tomatoes, Peppers, Snap peas, Green beans and in the greenhouse, we have Kale right now but will be planting Cantaloupe and maybe one plant of Watermelon. That's pretty much it for the annual stuff. We have tried a few different things over the years but nothing that we grow year after year. We tried Kohlrabi one winter in the greenhouse it took forever to grow I think it was just a little too cold.
Evening Tim. The only thing I have in the ground here is garlic I planted last fall and last year's Parsnips. Onions will go in if the place where I buy them ever gets them in and then potatoes.
Good morning WA...hope y'all had a great weekend!!! Tim...that's a pretty ambitious list of items for your garden. I remember growing up my folks had a huge garden in the back yard...about 30X40. Once the growing was done...the canning started...and...then it was time to enjoy until the next spring. Good luck with it!!!
Merry Monday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne, Ken and all the crew. Hope everyone had a great weekend, rested and ready for the new week. In my woods we are headed to a partly sunny day and about 75°.
Evening Tim. we were at 23 this morning but it made it to the 60's. Great day to do a lot of stuff. I put peatmoss on the blueberries but ran out. I still need a couple of bags. The birds can't hardly wait for the berries to start! We spent a little time looking at the sun, but it really wasn't that big a deal.
Good Evening, Tim, Rod, Ken, Spurredon, and anyone else I missed. Still kicking over here in the lower left corner. Nothing too exciting going on. I was really hoping to hear some fun eclipse stories from you eastern guys. I've been fortunate to have witnessed 2 total solar eclipses in my lifetime, and both times it was an experience to behold. At least it was to me.
