Now that I over filled my tractor tire, I need to take it off the tractor and lay it down to let the air out. I haven't came up with a plan yet but I'm working on it. I'm going to try and get the garden bed back filled first. Stay tuned for the fun at the Young's ranch!
Evening Tim. Chilly but dry all day. I unloaded the wood wagon in the barn this morning before church. I brought in at least 12 pickup loads of wood that we guessed were 1 1/2 face chords. When I split it and throw it on the wagon which is an old ground driven manure spreader converted to wood wagon, I get about 1 1/3 face chords on it. So, if my math skills still work, I have done 4 loads and should have another 9 or so to go. Plus, I dragged in at least 4 chords of fallen trees out of our woods that are still laying up there. Once it is all done there should be enough for a couple years.
It was cool almost to the point of being cold for a while. We got the raised bed all done and all the irrigation lines back in place this afternoon. The wind kicked up and it was kind of miserable.
Merry Monday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne, Ken, Steve, Roy and crew.
I hope everyone had a great weekend and Ma Nature was kind. She was a little fridged this weekend but it was still sunny and still felt good!
Evening Tim. Nice here toady. Made it to nearly 60 and sunny with light breezes. I got a lot of wood moved and made a dump run. Fun to have the cap back on the '93 now that it is patched back up from its tumble.
It was a nice day here as well, I had a little wind gust in the afternoon but it didn't last long. We got quite a bit done today, and I even got an afternoon nap. My wife said "I don't want to get used to taking s nap until I'm like 80 years old" she's a tough one I tell ya. She grew up on a farm in Iowa, she doesn't let any grass grow under her feet.
Evening Tim, Another nice one. Did more wood. Almost half done. It will be good to move on. I did get the bike out this afternoon and heard it run for a minute!
