Beautiful sunny and 72° evening at 1800. I got my yard mowed for the second time this season. It was about 6-8 inches tall in 10 days. I do believe my mowing season has started!

We had a real nice day today although I didn't get enjoy it as much as I would have liked. Yesterday while working in the shop using my 4" angle grinder, I apparently got a little grinding under my safety glasses, and it imbedded in my eyeball. I woke up this morning with my burning, not bad but still something was wrong. It got worse as the morning rolled on, I was lucky enough to get in and see the eye doctor just before noon. Sure enough a piece of metal in the eye, he got it out, but I'm here to tell you it still hurts. He said it would but not because of the metal but because he was digging it out. I'm on antibiotic drops ever two hours. I guess I need better safety glasses.

Tim, it does sound like a new pair of safety glasses are in your future. I hope it heals quick and the discomfort ends soon.
Good morning WA...Happy Saturday #4...we're officially on the downhill slide to the weekend...hang on for the ride. Yet another splendiferous day in Western MA...could hit 70* this afternoon. Hope it's at least as nice in your little slice of heaven.

Waking up to cold and sunshine today, starting off at 28 degrees. Heard the helicopters at daybreak running over the orchards trying to move some of the air around and prevent frost damage. Looking for 60's for highs this weekend. Supposed to be nice for a few days, anyway.
My eye is feeling better, still a little Irritated. Last night though was another story, I finely took a couple Ibuprofen about 0200 and slept the rest the night. Somthing to be said about Western medicine.

Tim, Glad to hear your eye is doing better but keep the ointment going. Tell Maria that when she gets buff from working out to take it easy on you! LOL
My eye is doing a little better still some pain and still a little blurry, but I think that is from the irritation. Did a few things outside this morning, took it easy for a while a took an afternoon nap. Then played in the shop for a while before the afternoon chores.
I made a new nut for the 5C collet's I have and modified an old Yamaha suspension wrench to use on the collets. Here's a few photos of today's activity, well the wrench I worked on the day before yesterday.
