Good evening, Jim and Wayne and crew. We made 61° and light rain all day in my woods!
Jim, glad you are feeling better! It only took about 3 days for me to get over the cold but 4 more to get back to normal or as normal as I get
Not much for clouds tonight to make a pretty sunset, but even the 'boring' ones are special. Something's burning in the area so it's a little hazy and smelly tonight. Enjoy your evening, gents.
Good morning WA...Happy Saturday #4...we're on the downhill slide to the weekend. A soggy start to our day...hope MA Nature is taking good care of you!!!
Thanks Tim, and good morning everyone. We love looking over the McNary Wildlife Refuge and feel absolutely Blessed to be here. Every day is a different painting. This morning is no different. The Snow Geese are dwindling from the millions that have been swarming in recent weeks, so that's an indicator spring is just around the corner.

That is a very interesting view! Pretty serious fencing in the fore ground.
Fantastic Friday Washington, Tim, Wayne, Steve, Ken and all the crew. It is the Weekend Eve and almost time to start the weekend eve party! Starting the day in my woods at 43°, headed to 65°, mostly overcast with a little sun. Hope everyone has a great day and Ma Nature is kind!
Wayne, I do bet that view is ever changing and obviously some impressive views.
I'm still congested and at times have a bad cough, better than it was but still suffering. It's been a long haul. I'm going to get out and do some outside work today, it's just been too cold lately to get much done breathing that cold air.
Afternoon Tim and I agree on the cool/cold dry air and coughing. Hang in there the cold and cold weather won't last much longer.
Today I went to town and as I drove home, I was amazed at how much is already flowered! I mowed the grass last weekend and it is already 3 inches taller indicating the mowing season has started in my woods!
Evening Tim. Hope you improve. One thing that gives me relief with that kind of junk is putting a small pan of water with a small amount of water in it and bringing it to boil. Then use a newspaper or whatever and hold it over the steam and on top of your head or part way up your face and inhale that warm steam. It has really been a reliever for me at times. I believe my mother used to put Vicks in it to help break things up even better. I can remember doing that two or three times a day for about five minutes or so. It doesn't cure you, but it can be soothing.
