Merry Monday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne, Ken, Steve and all the crew. Time to start the new week and it looks to be a typical start to Spring in my wood, sunny and cool. OH, Spring starts in 1 day and 17 hours!
Got to be a nice warm spring day here today, topping out at 75, 3 degrees off the record from 1911. The snow geese were basking in the sun for an afternoon swim. To bad the weatherman is calling for a return to winter with a cold front moving through starting Wednesday, leaving us with temps in the mid 50's and rain all weekend.
Rod, Ken, Wayne and the rest the crew of wandering Ford Fans!
We had a high of 77° yesterday, it was too hot to be working on the fruit trees, my blood is still thick from the winter.
I'm going to try and get a little welding done on the car trailer today. I build a winch mount for it last year but it's not sturdy enough. We bought a bigger winch for it a while back, it's time I put a brace on it before I use it and bend up the mount.
Wow, that's cold. We are headed to a cold spell, but not that cold the prediction is low 50s for the highs and low 30s for the lows.
Got the brace welded in place on the trailer and the winch in place just to see what it looks like. It's not much to look at but here it is. Now I need to make a Battery Box.
I hit the ground running today, and it sounds like tomorrow will be no different. I'll try and check-in later tomorrow, but I won't be round to check in the morning.
