Wayne, that sure looks like a great way to spend an evening. The closest baseball around here is over an hour away.
Hi Steve, I talked to the dealer today, he said the tires are filled to 75% and that the level would be just above the top of the rim. My manual says 75% but the picture shows the fluid level below the top of the rim.

Good Tuesday morning Washington, Tim, Steve, Wayne and all the crew. Yesterday was beautiful with partly sunny skies and 85°. Today looks to be a repeat of yesterday!

Howdy Rod and crew!

It's a beauty of a day here although just a tad on the cool side, with a little breeze.

Rod, Do you get your Austin Healey out much?

Evening Tim and Wayne. Sunny and near 60 here today. I cut out a small truck load of Locust post for my friend Ron this morning. Hopefully the ground will be dried out enough tomorrow to maybe work in it a bit!

Sounds good Steve, We have Locust trees out here but they're not the kind you make fence posts out of.

I managed to get a water line in for the asparaguses planting today and by the way all ten plants are up now.

I'm going to and install at least one more water tomorrow maybe two if the first one goes well.

Happy Hump Day Washington, Tim, Wayne, Ken, Steve and all the crew.

No Tim, I don't drive it much anymore. I should sell it!

Looks to be another nice day here. Starting the day at 63°, headed to 80°, some sun and maybe a few brief storms!

Evening Tim. Water for Asparagus is a good idea. We certainly get the most production if it is warm and rainy. Ours hasn't even poked out of the ground yet. I got a close look today as I was tilling between the rows. I also got 13 hills of potatoes in the ground. Was going for onions too but decided to spend the time tilling ground that I have not been on yet this year. I have two decent sized plots and three smaller ones. Our rhubarb is starting to show up pretty good.

Sounds good Steve,

My wife is the one who heads up the planting of the garden, she the farmer of the family! I believe we will get potatoes in the ground this weekend.

We got two more water meters installed today and going for one more tomorrow! After tomorrow that will leave one more meter to install! We also found a pretty substantial leak today, so that was plus.

Good Thursday Morning gentlemen, waking up to clear and sunny skies, but cold temps hovering right around freezing. A freeze warning was sent out last night and this morning we're hearing the wind machines in the surrounding orchards going 90 miles an hour. I think my yard art tree may have gotten some damage from an earlier late freeze. I've got a low branch that isn't budding up right. I'm a little concerned since I was depending on it for fill in towards the front.

Evening Tim and Wayne. Rainy and really greening up here. There will be many lawn mowers going the next time it dries out for the first time this year.

Tim, is your water supply a well or reservoir?

Wayne, many of those ornamentals don't seem to keep many lower branches from what I have seen around here. Is that a Japanese Maple?

It is. Sad thing is it looked like it was starting to bud up, but then we had a cold snap and I didn't think too much about it. Then when the rest of the tree bloomed, the little buds on the lower branch seemed to dry up and fall off. The branches still have color and are pliable, like they want to live, so I'm not sure if there's still some hope for it or not. Wondering if there's anything I could do to help it. Maybe I should call the nursery where we got and ask?
