Good Thursday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne and all the crew. Tim, I wouldn't be running at your age, I would walk slowly! LOL
Starting the day at 24° and headed to a high of 45°. I think Ma Nature may still be in Winter mode. Someone need to catcher her and flip the mode switch to Spring!
Good morning WA...Happy Saturday #4...the Eastern Invasion continues!!! Woke up this morning to a feels like of 3*...apparently MA Nature didn't get the message that it's spring.
Good morning WA...Happy Weekend Eve!!! Got a real kitchen sink storm moving in here tonight...white crap...sleet...freezing rain...all rain...could get up to 3" of rain. Hope MA Nature is treating you better!!!
Fantastic Friday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne, Ken, Steve and all the crew. Hope everyone had a great week, rested and ready for the Weekend Eve Party. I slept in until 0730 in hopes of maybe making it to 2200.
Beautiful day in my part of WV with sun until about 1200 and overcast in the afternoon and maybe a needed shower in the afternoon. Started at 30° and headed to about 62° by noon. The rain will help water the forest floor and lower the fire danger. The woods are pretty dry.
Worked yesterday for our community water system and installed another water meter. We have 10 installed now and 9 more to go.
Rod, My eye is doing pretty well, unfortunately It has caused a little blurry vision. It's not bad but it's there. The problem is the metal went in the eye right in the center of the pupal, I think there may be some scaring causing the blurriness. I'm still hoping that will clear up with time.
Good morning friends and neighbors from near and far. Happy Friday to y'all. Nothing exciting to report from here. Glad to hear you're doing better, Tim. Prayers for a full recovery. Cooler and overcast today. Started off at 43 at sunrise, up to 53 at 11am, looking for around 60 by the afternoon. The better news is it's not supposed to get quite as cold or wet over the weekend as was originally forecast. Weather radar is showing a huge storm sliding in from the ocean as big as the entire west coast line, but they're saying we might see maybe a 1/4" of precip over the course of the next 3-4 days. Love living in the desert. That's me waving to you from that little brown spot at the bottom of Washington state that will be bypassed by the majority of the wetness.
Good morning WA...Happy Saturday For All!!! Woke up this morning to a winter wonderland...now...a wintry mix falling. Sounds like a great day to do nothing.
Sensational Saturday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne, Steve, Ken and all the crew stopping by!
Yesterday was a nice day with sun, 66° and no rain. The Soothsayers Crystal Ball prediction was off again but I am not complaining. It was much better than the predicted. The rain we were supposed to get was far less than predicted at 1/2 and inch and turned out to be 12/100ths! AND, today it was supposed to and was 43° when the day started and continue to about 55° in the afternoon and gray skies giving way to some sun. Well, by 0900 it had dropped to 37°, the high will hit maybe 50° and the sun may not show up.
I did get my Friday routine completed of going to the Post Office for the mail, Lunch, feed store, grocery store, stop and see a couple of friends and a haircut. Then home and cut the grass for the third time thins season and after that I completed my Domestic Househusband Chores that included making a dish of some type for Wifey to take to her Women's group gathering last night and dinner for me which will be leftover dinner tonight for both of us!
It was raining here this morning at 5:15 but the trouble was it was only 26 out. Ice building up on the trees, fortunately it switched over to snow before we lost power. It looks like mid-winter here again.
Good evening, gentlemen, way better day today than predicted. A little rain overnight, just enough to dampen the dust and make puddles in the driveway. Mid 60's, clear and sunny all day. Got some yard work done. Fired up the rider and spent 3 hours dethatching, aerating, moving and sweeping for the first mow of the year. Toss on a little fertilizer and get the irrigation going and we'll be ready for another season. The best part was watching the clouds and rain skirt us all day with blue sky and sunshine overhead. Makes for a pretty sunset when the work is over. A 180 degree panorama from NW to SE.
It started raining early today rained off and on most of the day and is is still lightly raining. Spend a few hours in the shop today, didn't seem like I got a lot done but had a good time anyway.
