Happy weekend, gentlemen from near and far, time to get up and at'em, the weeds seem to keep growing, and it's time for them to go. The weather here is going to be perfect for being outside, sunny and 60's all day, and no wind for a change.
The fun part this weekend is baseball tonight at our minor league park for the Tri-City Dust Devils. https://www.milb.com/tri-city-dust-devils The wife and I and a group of friends get a mini-plan of 11 games for the season with great seats just off home plate on the 3rd base side. I hope it's a good game because so far the team has been in an early slump at 1-6. C'mon guys, shake it off!
Joyous Sunday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne, Bud, Roy, Steve and all the crew. Another beautiful day in my woods with plenty of sun and near 80°. Yesterday was nice for outside work near 70°, full bright sun and a breeze. It made mowing the yard, barn repairs and relaxing out front in the sun pretty nice.
I hope Ma Nature is kind and everyone has a blessed day!
Nice looking timber there Tim ! Where'd ya find those uniform trees? Happy Sunday Washington !
A farm store called North 40 does a great job with the posts!

47° here this morning and headed to the mid 70s, I wish it would stay at these temps for the next couple months.

Good morning Michael, My wife and I had a passing thought about escaping the state when we got our property tax assessment this year. After some shopping around and doing a road trip to check out one place we thought we would like, we decided we have our place setup pretty nice and decided for the time being just to stay put.
Evening Tim. It is starting to look nice here that it is warming up slowly. Early flowers out but flowering trees still holding back. I want to get potatoes and onions in the ground if it ever dries up enough again. What do you have planned for that new bed?
Nothing yet Steve, we should have potatoes in the ground by now, but we don't. Onions and Potatoes coming soon. Maria did a bunch of mowing around some of the garden bed and grape vineyard today. We worked together and unloaded and stacked one trailer of firewood. I moved the car trailer to the upper level and relocated the dump trailer so we can load up all the old, rotted poles.
I screwed up and over inflated a tractor tire and now I can't get it lowered, I think it has too much of that Beat Juice stuff in it. I tried to lower the pressure but all that would come out is about a quart of beat juice and the pressure only dropped about 2 lbs. and that was about 20 minutes to do that, it's about 12lbs over inflated at this point.
Good Sunday evening, unfortunately our Dust Devils didn't win (1-7), losing to Spokane 8-3. The Indians are off to a great start to their season (8-0) and were clearly the superior team last night. Still, a gorgeous night and perfect for enjoying a game. The Saturday sunset made a perfect backdrop.
Update: If there's any consolation, we did manage a win on Sunday closing out the 6 game series with Spokane on somewhat of a high note with a 4-2 victory.
Merry Monday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne and all the crew. I hope everyone had a great weekend and Ma Nature was as nice to you as she was to my woods.
Wayne, it looks like it was a nice evening for the game.
Now that I over filled my tractor tire, I need to take it off the tractor and lay it down to let the air out. I haven't came up with a plan yet but I'm working on it. I'm going to try and get the garden bed back filled first. Stay tuned for the fun at the Young's ranch!
Evening Tim. That tire must really be filled up! Normally I just run the valve stem to the top and go from there. Laying it down sounds like a good plan. Always good to have a challenge. That is how to prevent dementia! I wish!
Wayne, that sure looks like a great way to spend an evening. The closest baseball around here is over an hour away.
