Good morning Washington Truckers.

Rod it is sunny here as well, but not dawning a Thong here.....

Sunny and 40° currently. I've been online researching parts for my Bronco project, it's daunting all the different options one can go with.

I'm also looking at a couple new tools for the shop. As much as I hate to support China, sometimes the cost of US made stuff along with the precision needed for a hobby guy makes it unreasonable to buy the US made stuff.

Tim sweet trailer, I bet the dump function will be nice. What tools are you looking into?

Drove the truck, a little maintenance on the Jeep and Honda. Need to take the truck for a long drive, oil change and tire rotation soon.

Good morning Washington Ford Fans,

I had a good weekend. I spend pretty much all day in the shop yesterday. Working on an Electronic Lead Screw for the lathe, here are the brackets I made yesterday with the 3D printed prototype in the background. I plan on welding them up today.

Bently, I was looking at a set of Pin Gauges for the machine shop, they are on order now.

Well my life got a little strange last week, all of a sudden Thursday because we had completed commissioning the first 1st 3 compressors, and one of the main power generators was out of service due to oil and hydraulic issues, the customer decided that I was to go in to shore. I understood as was going to be a couple of weeks to fix the turbine on the generator and needed parts for the last compressor.

Flew in to St. John's Friday morning, couldn't check into the hotel till 3:00 so got my rental, got some lunch, picked up a few groceries then checked in. Found out about 8:00 that they had decided I should now go home, instead of being on standby in case they got all the parts for everything and they were ready for me to come back and commission the last unit.

Needless to say after being there for 3 months I was ready so Here I am, back at the coast.

It's a ton better than dealing with blowing snow and ice on a rig 250 miles off Newfoundland about halfway to where the Titanic sunk.

ThongTastic Thursday Washington, Tim, Eric and all the crew. Starting my Friday morning at 28° and headed to about 60° today with some sun. The weekend in my woods will be near 60° but some rain in the forecast.

Tim, that is some nice machine work on them brackets!

Good morning Rod, Ken, Eric and the rest.

36° and cloudy.

Rod, Thanks for the comment on the machining, I wish my welding was as nice. Haven't quite figured out how to get good consistent welds on aluminum.

Ken, that photo just doesn't look like it was taken last night.

Been foggy/gloomy/rainy the last several days here. Today is the first dry day in many. Some sun breaks with spots of blue sky poking through. Temps in the low 40's. The ice on the lake has melted finally. Let's hope the ground hog was right.
