Howdy Rod, Eric and the rest of the Washington truckers.
Eric, So you say reinjecting gas, what kind of gas?
We are currently setting at 42° foggy.
Took our car into the frontend shop today for a re-alignment. As it turns out when it hit the rock wall it bent a lower rear a-arm if you will. This car doesn't have the traditional A-arm like in the old days. On the lower section there is one big beefy arm in the front and this tiny little arm on the rear section that got bent. The saga continues.
Good morning WA...and...wandering enthusiasts...Happy Saturday #2!!! Gonna be a "clousy" day here...temp tops out at 32*...not a bit of sunshine. Hope MA Nature takes good care of you!!!
Hi guys, still wet and cold here in the lower left corner. The thermometer says 41, but it feels 31 and the lake on the refuge is still frozen.
With the break in the weather Monday I took a quick round trip road trip to Portland to grab some house parts and car parts I've had my eye on. Thick fog between here and Biggs, high winds though the gorge, but it was a rare nice day in Portland. Grabbed my stuff and headed back for home through more of the same. 515 miles in 10 hours. The highlight; Mt Hood is pretty this time of year.
We got the Explorer back and it seems to be good, drives nice and the steering wheel is straight again. Now to get the scratches in the front bumper taken care of and we will be good as new.

We reinject Natural Gas, no way to hold enough volume and ship it to shore, impractical to liquify it as there's a lot of parts to the process and takes a lot of space besides the huge tanks required for storage, plus it's sour gas, contains high amounts of Hydrogen Sulfide. They take the crude from over half the wells then here in the field then reinject the water as well as the gas into some of the other wells.
Sensational sunny Saturday morning Washington, Tim, Eric, Wayne, Ken and all the crew. Starting the morning with full sun and headed to about 52° today. I may just have to don the Thong and sunbathe!
