Happy Halloween Washington, Tim, Ken, Preston, Wayne, Ken, Steve, Nicolas and all the Ghouls! Almost time to take the masks off and scare all the kids and parents and cause emotional issues for them!
LOL
Beautiful fall day with full bright warm sun, nice breeze and 83°. By the time the kiddies go out to Trick or Treat it will still be 75°.
Wayne, I keep my Flagpole when I sold the RV. It is a 20-foot 3 section collapsable for 2 flags. I have the inground mount and the under-wheel mount for camping! I need to see what I can get to mount on the top. I remember there were options for the top. It being 20 years old, I don't remember much about it!
It's raining today, they say we may get up to a half inch today. Yesterday my wife bought two big chunks of chuck about 35 lbs each. Today is meat processing day.
Good November One Washington, Tim, Ken, Steve, Wayne, Preston, Nicolas, Ken and all the crew.
We had a little rain over night but today has been a beautiful Fall Day. 67° as the high, bright warm sun and no breeze made it rather warm in a long sleeve t-shirt and jeans!
Tim, Have fun processing the Roasts and I am sure you will have something great for dinner!
Sounds like perfect weather, Rod. 50, cold and rainy here today. Sure, we can use the rain but that doesn't mean I have to like it. I've never liked cold and wet. I could never live on the west side, for several reasons, but the constant cold and wet would kill me. I'm chilled to the bone right now, and I've been inside most of the day. The lack of sun really does a number on me. I'm just too used to my 300 days of sunshine here.
Evening Tim, Wayne, Nickolas and Preston. We got up to 80 here yesterday! You never know what you will get for weather these days. I should have taken a pic yesterday as there were at least a dozen contrails, that was just in front of the house! I don't know much about them, but they sure make the sky unattractive!
Changed out the solenoid for the draft of my wood furnace. Not complicated but so hard to get your hands in there and then once you did it was even harder to see!

Yes we were Blessed and it was a really nice day. I like the beautiful sunny day but understand the issue of the lack of rain. That is one issue here is the number of Sun Days!

West Virginia:
Winter 0001 to 0730 hrs
Spring 0731 to 1030 hrs
Summer 1031 to about 1630 or a little longer hrs
And winter from then to 2400! LOL
I grew up watching the Contrail and figuring out what aircraft made them.
That was my job at the Garage! Stick your long skinny arms up around the XXXXX and get this in place and then start the bolts blind!
Thank goodness I am well adapted at feeling around in the dark and seeing what is happening! LOL
We got the meat cut up, some of it ground, well most of it actually. We had a BBQ burger tonight with a fried egg, BBQed yellow pepper and bread and butter pickles.
Good morning Butcher Tim...all of WA...and...wandering enthusiasts...Happy Saturday For All!!! Gonna be a typical mid fall day here...hope MA Nature is taking good care of you!!!
Don't forget to set your clocks back tonight...take advantage of that extra hour of sleep.
Good sunny Saturday morning Washington, Tim, Preston, Wayne, Ken, Steve, Nicolas, Ken and all the crew.
Started the day at a cold 33° but the sun is up full and warm, and my woods are headed to about 68°.
Tim, glad you have the beef mostly processed and the BBQ was good. I ***-U-Me you are freezing it.
Morning Peston and we are still a month or so out on the chickens. They are still not big enough yet!
Its been cold here the last few days. Only between 35-45 but 100% humidity, cold rain and very cold wind.
Sorry the hear Ma Nature hasn't been kind.
But I know it is only a matter of time before it makes it to my woods.
I was a cool weather person but in the last several years I have became a 70-80° and sunny day person in a T-shirt, shorts and sandals and I could do that year round.
