I deleted my fuel bowl with a cncfab 4 line feed/bowl delete kit, an airdog II and a g&r sump. All purchased from Cncfab. It is a nice setup, but really no need to delete the fuel bowl. One of those things I did planning on a more extensive build that I decided to refrain from completing. But no fuel bowl makes for working on the hpop a breeze, I can swap pumps in about 20 minutes from stop to running again
My other truck I did the in tank mods, a pre pump filter and then a rebuilt bowl with a cncfab 4 line feed/ bowl retain kit.
Happy Easter everyone!Have any of you guys deleted the fuel bowl and if you have what system did you put back in?
I’ve deleted mine on my 99.5 I did in tank mods with bigger pick up, lines, dual spin on filters, dual Bosch 44 pumps, fuel regulator and a 4 corner feed from cnc fab
Why would you want to delete the factory fuel filter? It does an excellent job of filtering the fuel and removing air that may have entered the system.
Most fuel bowl deletes are a compromise to efficiency, reliability and readily available parts for repair.
Not as much of a effective route like SSJ but that tube has lasted me at least 5 years. I have various greases around but it is convenient to just grab "the tube". YMMV
brian42 I hate to be a pain but what size drill bit did you use and where did you get the 1/16" NPT plug?I just got back from ACE and HOME DEPOT and neither place knew what I was asking for.Imagine that!!!!!!
First let me thank ya'll for the advice on the o-ring thing.Funny thing is I tried for thirty minutes to put the new o-ring on without my glases on so my son was here for Easter brunch.I asked him to have a look at it for me.He looked at me kinda funny and said dad the old one is still on there! He pulled it off and installed the new one no problem.I think I will be wearing my glasses from now on.....

Some drill bit sizes for making the hole for an NPT fitting are not numbers, they are letters. Most tool stores won't know this unless you find a crusty old gearhead.
You need a "D" drill bit. It is specifically for drilling the hole for tapping a 1/16" NPT fitting.
