Start a youtube channel and post videos of these scammers. Might as well get "paid" for being a victim of these shenanigans. I'm getting upset just reading about humans who do this type of thing.
The hauling butt part after you show them their actions were caught on camera would be entertaining, as well as alerting to the community at large of their techniques.
The hauling butt part and the conversation was not caught on camera, just the part where she kept trying to come over into my lane with her front wheels just past my front bumper. I saved that to show the boss I had at the time just in case she called the phone numbers on my service van.
As for the YouTube channel, see the link in my signature. And be sure to subscribe! I need 1000 subs to start being monetized and I just hit 300. Most of my content is about the 7.3 and hot shot trucking.
This is a good method as well. For my own personal use, I was not concerned about the backup camera displaying on the head unit each time I put the truck in reverse. I prefer to have "positive control" over certain accessories and truck functions like auxiliary tank fuel pumping into the OEM tank with a momentary switch, the GPR on a momentary switch, etc... So, having the backup camera accessible by pushing the soft/app button anytime I wanted only seemed natural.
For my use anyway...
Good to see I am not the only one who deems the use of the backup camera at any point is a good thing.
Well I finally got to complete the back up camera wiring, the delay was a combination of things including but not limited to my ordering an incorrect connecting lead, and a missing round tuit........
Anyway it's now fully functional & having disabled the built-in guidelines on the camera (they ain't nowhere near for a dually lol!), the ones in the Atoto are now pretty close to perfect, the adjustment procedure isn't great as the box on the screen with the variables is smack over the grid you're trying to get right so it's a case of move it then check & go back try again.....My old Pioneer was much more sensible with this process.
I'm slightly disappointed that there's no option to display the camera at all times, unlike the Pioneer, so I've ordered a splitter cable to feed into one of the other video inputs as well, like you @Sous I really like to keep tabs on what's happening immediately behind my trailers, the cable arrives tomorrow so I'll update as soon as I know if this will work.

I'll trade you one toit for a pound of gumption...
I'm in the process of installing my ATOTO A6 Pro (same one as Sous). I've been going back and reading many of the posts finding installation tips, but I'm sure I missed some. I had a few questions as far as some of the wiring and installation maybe you guys can clarify.
My wiring setup is pretty simple. I'm running speakers off two amps (one 4 channel to all interior speakers and one amp for subs). So I'm negating all of the speaker wires. Don't have steering wheel controls. So negating steering control wires. Don't have power antennae. So negating that wire. Only wires I'm currently using is Yellow (constant 12V), Red (12V keyed hot), Orange (Illumination wire), Black (ground). Blue (Amp turn On) signal.
1. This leaves me with a Parking brake wire ( I assume I can negate this unless you can give me a logical reason for it that I'm not thinking of).
2. This leaves me with the backup camera wire (I'm not sure if I'm going to run a backup camera or not. I know Sous said he connected to an accessory wire to have camera access whenever he chose. Does this mean you connected this I think it is a pink backup wire to what?)
3. The ATOTO A6 Pro has only one Sub RCA output. My current setup has 2 RCA's (one amp, 2 subs). So I assume I can just Y this connection (1 Male to 2 female RCA's)
4. For those of you using the Metra 95-5817 installation bezels on the sides of your head units for a cleaner look, how are you installing those if you are hard mounting the unit like Sous, SSJ, BWST, etc?

I don't have an Atoto head unit (yet), but the parking brake wire is for the attorneys mama plagued us with (Mama don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys, let them be doctors and lawyers instead)
The parking brake wire is used to verify you are parked when you dive into settings on many head units, like when you are pairing a Bluetooth device.
So if you negate that wire, remember that when you are confronted by a warning telling you your vehicle must be parked with the parking brake set. And they look for the voltage transition so you cannot just jump it out (I've tried).

3. The ATOTO A6 Pro has only one Sub RCA output. My current setup has 2 RCA's (one amp, 2 subs). So I assume I can just Y this connection (1 Male to 2 female RCA's) No idea, but that seems feasible... I don't listen to anything other than podcasts or navigation when I am driving. So, an amplifier is never in my configuration.
4. For those of you using the Metra 95-5817 installation bezels on the sides of your head units for a cleaner look, how are you installing those if you are hard mounting the unit like Sous, SSJ, BWST, etc? I didn't use the side mounts or the bottom or top bezels. I did use the side bezels held in with VHB 3M very thin double sided tape. Has held well for thousands of miles so far.
See my comments in red above, I hope this helps.

This is not an issue with the ATOTO A6 Pro based on my experience and testing. I am familiar with what you refer to as on some of my previous head units I would have to buy a "fooler" for the parking brake wire to trick the head unit into thinking the vehicle was stopped. Again, this is not the case with the ATOTO. All settings and functions are available regardless of the speed or motion of the vehicle.
I have just encountered a new problem.......you may or may not remember I was having a problem trying to download the app for my favourite radio station (Planet Rock) well a couple of weeks ago I tried again & it installed successfully which was great.
However yesterday I thought I'd upgrade my navigation app to the Sygic Truck & RV version, I get this message pop up at the bottom of the screen.
There's no other apps running & I've tried with random other apps on Play store but get the same message every time. I'm going to try Atoto support too & see what they say.
Any input is always welcome.
I've managed to sort it now, thanks to suggestions I got from a Facebook Atoto users page, I'll answer your questions below

Prior to installing Planet Rock, you had no issues with getting to Google Play, correct? Correct
I wonder if the error is a regional thing? Like how copyright and trademark have various regions for USA, UK, Asia, etc... 99% sure that's not the issue, Planet Rock is definitely a UK based app, Sygic is a Slovac based app.....
Is the Planet Rock app Russian made by chance? With all of the craziness surrounding Russia at the moment, that could be a possibility. I don't think that's the problem
So basically I was advised to clear cache, which I did but that didn't fix it, I dived further into the wormhole, found some more "delete" or "clear" options & tentatively proceeded to delete or clear stuff, returning to the Play store after each one, until it worked.
With hindsight I should have made notes as I went as I found options & settings that I didn't know existed, but I didn't so sorry for that......
What would be great (especially for us older non tech minded dinosaurs) would be a map of what takes you where in the settings as some of the stuff doesn't follow a logical sequence (well not to me, but I'm not of the tech generation!?)
The downside was that deleting some data meant having to re input passwords for some stuff & once the Sygic RV & Truck navigation had installed it took another hour to download offline maps for all of Europe, not totally necessary but means I'm not reliant on Internet signal when travelling. Still waiting for my splitter cable for the back up camera (Amazon failed, for the first time, to deliver my package & it was only when I checked tracking that I found out it's been returned to supplier) so I've ordered another from a different vendor, in the meantime I've dropped the truck off for the spray in bedliner to be done this week.
I haven’t used an ‘install kit’ yet. No idea what’s in there. I have cut the bottom off the ATOTO bezel and used it to fill the small gap on the sides of the unit. Can’t find a good pic of that.... I’ll try to take one later.
I’ve been putting the ATOTO e-brake wire on the ground wire. Everything works fine this way. Good to know this may not be necessary.
I downloaded Google maps for the southeast USA to cover most of the places I regularly go. My current $35/month straighttalk plan includes Hot Spot. Even though it’s ‘limited data’, it’s plenty for what I use it for (streaming Pandora and browsing FTE with occasional google maps when traveling regionally.
Quick questions for you install guys. I started trimming the dash piece. I trimmed the dash surround piece using both a hand saw and dremel (using duct tape to surround the piece to lessen chance nicks from a slip). I trimmed the top/bottom lips flush and left the sides alone since the width doesn't seem to be a problem just the height. Tried test fitting the radio through it, and it is still very snug despite the opening being flush top/bottom. So snug that it scratches the dash piece during the test fitting (the one I worked so hard to prevent scratching during the cutting phase). The picture is upside down and that extended tab is at the top of the dash opening.
.
1. Did you guys cut the extended tab circled in the picture below?
