Well, if you don't feel right about posting it, you should not do it. Sleep on it and make a decision tomorrow.

How is the project going? Disassembly complete? Shiny parts ready to go on?

I worry that the video will simply bore people to death.

The project was going well until I discovered a fitting that needed two 9/16" to loosen and I only own one that will fit in there.

I decided to modify the fuel bowl to use JIC fittings instead of the Parker Vibra Loks and SS braided teflon lline in place of the factory hardlines.

Newly configured fuel bowl.

Closeup of 1/8 NPT to -04 JIC adapters with hoses attached.

SS Braided teflon hose covered in clear vinyl for abrasion protection.

Passenger side fuel line

Passenger fuel line on the left, FRx return on the right.

Closeup of adapter and hose end on driver side head.

Fuel bowl reinstalled.

Closeup of adapters and hose ends where factory hard lines used to connect. The other FRx return in foreground.

I watched the video, it wasn't as bad as what I thought it was going to be. Most people have seen any number if the other 7.3L disassembly videos online, so your not really losing anything there.

This can simply be an addition to what the "people" really want to see.

I am looking forward to a "MISSION COMPLETE" post one of these days. Although, we all know these things take time and should not be rushed.

Turbonator control module mounted between engine bay fusebox and inner fender.

Edit: I may reconsider this and mount the control module inside the cab. Fewer cables passing through the firewall that way. To paraphrase Pink Floyd: "All in all it's just another hole in the firewall...."

Okay I decided to mount the control module inside the cab instead.

I had to enlarge the hole where the wires pass through th firewall.

Turbonator power relay now mounted where the Control Module used to be.

I have to find some way to stow all of this cable neatly.

The cable for the Turbonator exhaust housing to the control module is relatively short. I have to mount the Control Module close to the steering column. This is the mounting bracket I fabricated to get the job done.

Control Module mounted to bracket.

Turbonator electronics are installed.

EBPV signal to Turbonator exhaust brake trigger.

Turbonator exhaust brake defeat switch and data port in glove compartment.

Turbonator control module mounted next to steering column. Cables are still loose and will stay that way until the mechanical components are installed and plugged in, i.e. the vane actuator, and boost & drive pressure sensors.

The action cam rig filming it all.

Looking good Leonard.

That camera rig is pretty intense and should do well in avoiding filming your back.

Slow but steady progress.

CSD bits with stud conversions went in easily enough.

Downpipe mockup per RacinJaonWV's instructions went well. No massaging of the downpipe needed.

Although it did fall short of reaching the rest of the exhaust.

The cowl will have to be massaged to accommodate the Turbonator's actuator though.

With the mockup complete, pedestal plate studs were red loctitited in place and quad seals were put in place.

Pedestal plate fastened in place.
