While I have things apart, I decided to replace the pedestal o-rings also. The supply side quad/x-seal ring appears to have been permanently deformed. The return side ring looks like it is new.
I also found a 1/4” drive 7/16” socket that has been missing for years.

All the bits and pieces cleaned up and ready to go back in at the start of Saturday morning.
Replacement pedestal quad/x-seals in place.
The high-temperature gasket maker worked so well in the race car, I decided to use it on the truck too. This is the bead on the T4 flange before the steel gasket went on. There was another bead after the gasket went on too.
Fabricated a new, slightly shorter turbo oil supply line so I can route it behind the turbo.
New line installed. In case you are wondering why that 90 degree fitting looks used, that is because it is. It was previously situated at the outlet of the OBA compressor. That's the beauty of resuable fittings.

That particular model of MacBook Pro shown in the video was built with a ball grid array video controller that would get too hot, melt the solder under the chip, which left users without any screen, built in or otherwise.
So yeah, I don't know how that video of me got out there, but that computer deserved it's fate.
The transition boot, which was the last part I needed to complete the job, finally showed up and the truck is back in action. Old boot on the left, new on the right.
