Spent Saturday changing the oil in the idi, and resealing the fuel pump blockoff plate and starting on the valve cover gaskets. Sunday i helped dad reseal the driveway and finished up the valve covers, they were way overdue.
Alright, finally back at it. Got the panels sanded down, where the paint ran. 3 panels for now. If I can get it to lay right. I'll see how it looks compared to the rest of the panels. i may decide to do more of them if I can get these three right.
Plan is to spray them early, early Saturday morning, as long as it's not raining. I know the gulf is expecting a heck of a storm. Don't know how much of that we will see.
From what I've seen the weekend is supposed to be clear and not brutally hot.
Looks like that storm in Texas is going to camp out on them for awhile, I heard they were expecting "feet" of rain.
I've heard the same. They haven't closed the Houston Office yet, but they are contemplating it. Also sending out reminders to carry your gear home, so you don't have to come in and what not.

Since I had a blow out last weekend I went and got 2 new tires on the dually this morning.
After I got them on the truck I decided it was time to bolt something new to the engine stand. I had this short block built about 5.5 years ago and it was a 2 year adventure to get it where it is. That turned into a falling out and picking it up about 3.5 years ago. It's set in the corner of the building taking up space because I was pissed off with the entire situation. Well i decided it was time to bring it back out clean it up and start working on it again. Going to drop the heads off next weekend to be worked on hopefully. I'm going to clean up the short block, and make a few changes. I fully expect this to take a year, but I'm tired of looking at it.
