Bill im sure you do need 4x4 on your neck of the woods, but over here the only use for 4X4 is when we go to the lake or to the dunes, everything is develop wich I dont like, I love the open country specially mountain areas with lots of trees and vegetation, soon.
As for how many miles I will have to call the owner.

Just for the hey of it heres a pic of one for sale in my town in good condition, 96 f250 4X4 auto 7.3 4.10 gears with some after market 17" wheels and what looks to be a 100+ gallon aux fuel tank with electric pump for $4,700 OBO zero rust.


Talked to the guy today, truck has 280k but said he spent 2g's on the engine to get it up running again, pretty sure he took it to someone as I ask what was done and he had no clue, he said price is negotiable and "NEEDS MONEY" you know what that means
Anyone interested pm me Ill be glad to look over it if you decide to bite the bullet

I like this truck. To me it's the kind to really make it run. Not a cc but what I would like to have fun in. Just not in my budget.

Got a call today from the machine shop..........wait for it........... ITS DONE!!!! Ill probably pick it up in the next couple of days cant wait to have in the Mule

Its on the back of the Mule with some pics enjoy




Both heads look bad *** when they got resurfaced



Not a good picture of the block or cylinder walls since its sitting backwards on a tire



Crankshaft nice and polished






More to come as soon as I unload the stuff at the house.

Heres some more pics of the heads with the valve train, on and wrapped with the Super Duty camshaft in the center(no polish im using my cam just till I can get the funds for E fuel)





Crank shaft laying there just placing it on the block because its late and dark.



And heres the crank shaft on the block




And end caps bolted to hold in place till I have time to take it to my engine builder (my machinest was stacked with work I had to wait another 2-6 months before he got to my engine











And the wife helping me by wrapping on some ruber

Nope, you should know by now the work never ends next on the list is hopefully, a 3" suspension lift, e-fuel and still undecided if im going with a bigger turbo (I dont tow that heavy and my egts have been manegable on steep grades so no need for bigger air, yet?
