Its official its dead, and made it home litteraly 1 block away. It just stalled while while going to the entrance on the road near my house, still had power and all it just stalled while cranking it has a dead miss and you can see a smoke show from the oil fill tube.
Will post any updates as it unfolds.
The wife said let's take the Excursion many times, but me being stubborn wanted to take my Mule, just glad it made it back if not I wouldn't of heard the end of it. I'm thinking something electrical, it just cut off with no noticible anything? I'll check it tomorrow maybe something simple. I got to make sure she starts before I tear anything down, if not I'm going to be second guessing if it was the rebuild motor or something else.
I have tach movement, even threw some water on the IPR to see if the coil cools down but nothing, no blown fuses, 50 psi while cranking, all that's left is to hook up my AE and check ICP and IPR values.
Oh almost forgot to mentioned it kept having a random rpm fluctuation while parked? It stalled on me a couple of times while twisting the steering wheel and getting it into any gear with the ac on? Not the tc I know that for a fact. I'll check when time becomes availavle.
Yup, but luckily we were almost a foot step away, but she gave me the OK to go ahead with the rebuild, I love that woman. Oh she also gave me the green light to also paint the mule once the engine is in.
