I hope not I just need one more month and the other engine will be complete. Its crazy how these engines even with bad cylinders can still pull a load with ease.
OK just an update on the Mule.
Currently I'm on hold on the rebuild do to funds but on a good note the current engine keeps kicking and 4th of July weekend she will be traveling to San Antonio, that right another long trip.
I got to install the driver side door hinge bushings and pins and also rear driver side, man is it hard to align the freaking doors, It took more time to align than to remove the old pins and unistall/ install the doors. I'm happy to say I don't have to slam my door for it to close quieter cab to. Also Installed the front brake pads mine were cracked and 80% used.
Another thing happened apparently when I removed the front driver door I knocked out the chip from the PCM and didn't realize it till I took her for a spin but man what the hell, I notice my tranny shifted smoother? And my egt's plummeted at wot it wouldn't go above 1000° wtf? With the chip on the supposly "stock" tune my egt would slowly climb up to 1150? 150° reduction weird.
Any input on this matter would be great.
I'll post some pics of the hinge bushing and pins and brake pads tommorow got late and forgot to take some pics of the work done.
Also have body mount bushings(that should be fun to install
