Looks good, I'm thinking of removing the side trim on mine, maybe and I say maybe instead of trim I'll do some vinyl close to what the oem trim looks like.
So just a little update on the mule, after some vigorous testing I came to the conclusion my PCM took a dump, mainly my fault. So what happened was when ever I did my CCV mod one the drain hose had a hole on the side and was dumping oil to the pcm plug and you know what happens when fluid contacts an sensitive electrical parts. So I'll be waiting on the member that I loan my spare PCM to send it back and go from there. In the mean time I'm truck less but have another project that me and the old man want to start.
Here's a teaser of whats going to get build
Enjoy..

Reason: wrong size of engine...
Sweet! My first truck, which I still have, is a 74 460, 4 barrel that my grandfather had. He worked at Ford in Louisville and actually worked in it while it came down the line. Carb needs rebuilt but it's waiting in the garage for whenever that time comes. Have fun!
Received a pcm that I loan to one of the member here, No start dammm. Time to trouble shoot, I'm betting its the IPR cant diagnose with either PCM because they were not flashed but I got a spare IPR to test over the weekend
Slow progress on Pops, I'm doing all the mechanical stuff first then comes cosmetics. Trucks running perfect, and also painted the wheels black looks better than white.
She's alive, the Mule is up and running. Changed the IPR with a spare I had and started right away. The knock is still present but I can now proceed on my engine rebuild which is getting close.
I can now say I have a truck again and not an over sized SUV (wife's excursion)
That's the other project I'm starting on the Bump side forum. Its mostly going to be stock engine wise but the flat bed is going to receive some custom touches by me, and do the interior and body work, soon its running great.
Spoke too soon the Mule has a bad short somewhere. Truck won't start cranks fine but no start, driving lights stay on, unplugging relay #5 kills the lights relay #3 keeps buzzing, wait to start flickers and won't stop, all the radio lights turn on when I turn the lights on with key out of the ignition. Swap PCM same no chip installed either, WTF happen only thing I changed was the IPR,what would that have to do with anything?
I am chasing down a wiring problem as well. It is no fun. Mine still runs but no radio, speedo, temp, fuel, or oil pressure. I am thinking fuse link but it is all a swag.
If your engine shakes with the knock maybe the harness has chafed somewhere.
