Sean I received the unit. tried running the software on a win 7 pro. I could not get it to see the truck. Do I need win xp to run the software?

Someone else had problems with win 7 and after rebooting it he was up and running.
Just out of curiosity start up the computer and let it sit for a few minutes and then try.
Also is the VCM2 showing up in the list of USB devices when you have it plugged in?

On the v101 disk you will find the folder for v86.
That is the one that works well for the 6.0L
Don't forget the do the steps in the read me file.

IDS Clone

Hello Yahiko,
Could you point me in the right direction for an IDS Clone ? Looking on eBay but not sure which one to get. Some say they work some say they don't.
