Update: I've been able to update from 113 to 113.05.

Using IDS 113.05 on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Thanks for your patience, I'll see if we can get a newer version running. Run as date doesn't appear to get along with IDSLoader, will try to investigate this as well.

Relative compression test...it told me it had a communication error the first couple of times but if started working. Not sure if I should be worried about cylinder 5...guess it's just a 1% difference.

Power balance also loads and works.

Under 2% is generally OK. More so at cold vs hot.

Okay, working in collaboration with FlyOBD via TeamViewer determined the reason IDS doesn't work with Versions >113 is there's a problem with the software library. I was informed a fix should be released in the next day or two. Will update as soon as I know more.

Merry Christmas!

UPDATE: Well these guys are fast, look at this V116 working! Will post a new how to.

Excellent! My diagnostic tool is in the mail and should be delivered Friday. Can't wait to get it up and running so I can diagnose the P0272 code my Excursion is throwing.

Thanks for your work on this. Extremely valuable to the community

Merry Christmas!

I too am now working with Win 10 and V113 and date set to July 1 2019. I also get 1% low on cylinder 5 on compression balance test. And has communications errors unless I closed the injector balance test task.. Maybe this is just a bug as the other person got the same as I did.

I did have to do something different. I had to change my date before loading IDS and the JDS quickloader. But once I did that and loaded teh V113 files from the likes provided a couple days ago, everything worked and it is my injector 4 that is bad.

Neither factory or EBAY seller has fixed my ability to run >V113, after weeks of correspondence and then they said win 10 would not work a day or so before the V113 fix was provided on this thread above. I never could get my win 7 computer to clone so I could try this software on Win 7. no way I would load risky software on my main computer with all personal stuff.

But I am now set to replace injector 4 knowing it is bad!!!!! definitively

Anxiously awaiting to hear how to use V116?

Merry Christmas

How to get version 116 to work

Update: At the current time Www.flyobd.com has updated the files! So this makes the install even easier for you guys.

Okay, guys sorry for the delay but the family came first at Christmas. So without further delay here is how to get IDS 116 to work with the J2534 diagnostic tool. A huge thank you to the suppliers at www.FLYOBD.com they were awesome to work with.

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and IDS 116 and patch 116.02 installed

1. Go to My account ? flyobd shop and make an account if you don't have one.
2. Login to your account and go to Download or Download Center ? flyobd shop
3. For Ford IDS download the following 3 packages : IDSFord, SVCI-J2534-Ford-Quickloader, and most importantly IDS_VCI. (Files appear to all be hosted on Mega expect for IDS it comes from Fords servers)
4. Right click on each install file and Install everything "As Administrator" IDSFord (it will have you reboot after this installs), SVCI-J2534-Ford-Quickloader, and most importantly IDS_VCI (The install vidoes I watched failed to list this, without this when IDS try's to load it will fail.) I used the default option on all installs and ran everything as Administrator just in case.
5. On your Desktop there will be IDS shortcut, delete it as you will NOT use it to load IDS as it will fail due to no license.
6. Plug in your USB cable to your computer, plug your diagnostic tool into your USB cable and plug it in to your OBD 2 port on your vehicle. (Ensure the push button on the tool is in the pressed position to enable J2534, mine came in this position plus the button is recessed so you have to use something to press it. Otherwise it is a ELM327 if the switch is in the depressed position.)
7. In order to replace the next two files you have to take control of the folders. Open Windows Explorer or hold the Windows key and hit E, copy this address in the address bar C:\Program Files (x86)\STIC\SVCI Based Software List, right click on Ford IDS folder, select Properties, select Security tab, select Edit, scroll down till you see "Users", left click it and then select "Allow" on "Full Control", click Apply and OK and OK again to exit from this window. Do the same thing for C:\Program Files (x86)\STIC right click on SVCI Passthru Driver folder, select Properties, select Security tab, select Edit, scroll down till you see "Users", left click it and then select "Allow" on "Full Control", click Apply and OK and OK again to exit from this window.
7.1. Download IDSLoader***** and SVDIPT32.dll from my Google Drive, copy IDSLoader***** to "C:\Program Files (x86)\STIC\SVCI Based Software List\Ford IDS" and SVDIPT32.dll to "C:\Program Files (x86)\STIC\SVCI Passthru Driver". You can either overwrite the files or rename the old one before copying.

8. Turn your key to the run position and open the shortcut on your Desktop named "SVCI J2534".
9. You should see the IDS splash screen load up, upon first start it'll ask about "Dealer Type". Choose "Non-dealer" and select your country. IDS will load and you now have IDS!
10. You can go here to see what updates are available afterwards. Step 3 on this page will link the update package, simply download the package and run as Administrator. Now you have the updated package and just like before open with "SVCI J2534".

A couple of notes:
1. VCI program looks like it does nothing when opened because it shows VCM not connected. Leave it installed or IDS will not work!
2. Without the tool plugged in and the key in the run position if you try to run SVCI J2534 you will get error saying "VCI not plugged into car, or car battery under 8Volt."
3. If you don't install IDS_VCI you will encounter error "Load IDS software failed. TDSNetsetup error. Please reinstall IDS software."
4. I had also encountered a similar message reading "IDSLOADER Load IDS software failed. Maybe IDS has not been installed. Please install IDS at first. (I'm not sure what caused this error on the first install, perhaps I didn't run something as Administrator) But after running everything as Administrator I no longer have this issue.
5. Ford and Mazda IDS cannot be installed on same computer, if you need Mazda IDS you must uninstall Ford IDS.
6. Compatibility mode is not needed on Windows 10.
7. Updating once the main version number changes ex. 116 to 117 you will have to wait on a new crack to be posted here as the SVCI loader will realize the version does not match.
8. I've had some strange happenings at times, upon trying to do a relative compression test I follow the test holding the pedal to the floor and cranking. Randomly the truck will decide to start and IDS will give an error, but after trying it a few times it will work.

If anyone has any questions or needs any help I will do my best to help them out or need me to test a function of IDS for this tool just let me know. If you don't understand something or need help feel free to contact me, I will even hop on TeamViewer and assist you if needed. The guys at FLYOBD told me they would be updating the files so that all of the changing permissions of folders wouldn't be necessary buy they haven't update it yet so here is the work around for now. Here's a couple of shots showing it in action.

Thanks for the update and great to hear it now works.

Do you have link to these two files? I scanned above and didn't see where your google drive is. By the way, do you know what do those two files do and where you got them from?

I did see links to V113 and FVDI

Google Drive link added, got tied up trying to make sure I posted a good how to that I forgot my Google Drive link.

The two files update the library files for the IDS Loader which enable it to run and gather data from the truck. Please let me know if you have any trouble or find any more issues.

Thanks again for putting in the time to get this figured out. What is the advantage of upgrading to V116?

FYI, Windows Defender flags both of the files required for the update as trojan viruses.

@DungBeetle the benefit of upgrading to 116 is I believe that it supports the newest vehicles and you don't have to keep adjusting your system time if you use the laptop for more then just servicing your truck like I do. The adjustment of the system time will keep most all of the websites working due to the servers report a different time and date that your computer has.

Is your Windows Defender updated? I just ran the entire folder through Windows Defender on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and mine shows no problem with either of these files. I even downloaded them from my Google Drive and tested that copy just to check. Depending on what sources you test them against you will see false positives.
I believe this is a false positive on both files because of how this program works and your virus definitions not being updated. IDS Loader and SVCI have to do things in order to make IDS work, to my understanding it is bypassing the license and also enabling the J2534 controller to work. Running the original and the copy I have on my Google Drive through VirusTotal.com will show IDSLoader and SVCI have reports saying it is suspicious. Ran the files through https://virusdesk.kaspersky.com and it shows they are clean as does my copy of Windows Defender. Google Drive would of also blocked the file as it scans for viruses.

Full system scan showing clean

Showing newest version of virus and threats are updated, well 1 day old

That's interesting. Would you mind telling me where you got the files from?

I always have some reservation about files coming from China.
