Need to do a contribution test to see which injector im having issue with. YaHiko if you have any that will work with my truck I have Paypal ready and ready to use it. I do all my repairs on my own cars and trucks as I dont trust shops, Im a technician myself and know how the system works. Again thanks for any help.

The best thing to do is start a new thread on the main 6.0L board.
Not everyone looks in each thread. So posting the video here will not
get you as good a response as the new thread would.

The link for a new thread can be found on the main page.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum107/
It's on the left side of the page just above where the threads are.

Once you have a thread started I can ask the Mod to move the
video for you.

BTW I talked to the person at the UPS depot and she though that
is things move well you might see the package on Friday. Would be nice.

I see.
How does it feel when your sitting in it?

I have a low tech way to tell if something is running rough.
Sit a cup of water on the floor and watch the ripples. it
won't tell you what injector is acting up.

What version of IDS are you using?
We have found that v86 works well for testing the 6.0L
the only issue with v86 is programming. You have to use one
of the versions and you also need the files to install.

Now if you tried the higher level like v101 and then want to go
back to v86 you will have to do a recovery.

Check this video at about 6:22 in if you need to do a recovery.

I have installed the v86 on a vm windows xp pro. I went to the ford folder and used that version of v86, after install I did the patch file before starting the IDS. Now question is do I need to have the module hooked up to the laptop when installing and also what about the calibration file I a have seen done, do I need to do that. I dont have access to a laptop with just windows XP, all I have is one running win 7 pro. I have the virtual machine installed. I have looked for a video that has a complete install of the IDS but all the ones I have found really done explain it to well.

I was having some issues trying to run V86 on VM winXP. I ended up uninstalling the vm and ids and reinstalled on win7 and worked fine. Not sure what was catching but XP just didn't like it for some reason.

Hmmmm Ill try win 7 , wonder if it matters that mine is win 7 Pro? will see i guess, now should I have the module hooked up so windows sees it and installs te drivers for it at the same time the ids is loading? or just install the v86 and then hook it up. I dont know if there is an order this has to be done to work right.

You do not want to use the Windows wireless drivers if your using the wireless connection.
