I overhauled my e40d trans now it has no reverse or forward but it will move when I unplug the vss and an error code is set then it works fine. Any thoughts?

Update: getting 8 volts not 12volts to the epc and low line pressure about 8 psi when I unplug the vss I get 12 volts to the epc and 70 psi when the error code is set for the unplugged vss. Trans Works fine

Pickncrew, if I could get a copy of that file, I would appreciate it; I have an E4OD rebuild in my future (hopefully the trans in the truck holds on long enough to rebuild one on the bench). My Gmail address is same as my username - thanks a lot!
