Rebuilding E4OD

Hello all. Posted yesterday hoping for the zip file but I think my email was not clear. I drove down to LA yesterday with a trailer to pick up the dead truck. When I got home and got it off the trailer I still had no forward gear in drive until I revved the motor to about 1800 then it dropped into gear. I took it for a test drive and it ran strong, no slipping, no chattering, good smooth shifts. put it in park again and same problem, had to rev the motor for the trans to engage first gear. Reverse is fine. Any ideas? My address is mattxm@yahoo.com

97 F350 4x4 e4od problems
Trans is sometimes slow to up shift or shifts hard,might be time to rebuild ,anyone have zip file for info?Thanks.

hello, Im in the same boat as alot of the others with the e4od losing forward gears, and this is the 3rd tranny total for this truck. So this time i was going to try and tackle it myself. I was wondering if I could have a copy as well, it seems to be a popular file running a thread for 9 years. Backslash21 at Ymail.com
