I was in the same boat in '04 - purchased F350 from Tree Service - only used lately to plow - besides ball joints - tranny was shuttering - I replaced with an HD Tow from local tranny specialist - Will need a rebuild soon - last oil change the oil was brown and smelled burnt - starting to amass parts for a future rebuild - so I am on board with your thread- dont see me doing this till fall next

I was looking at 2 different kits... one includes the intermediate band... Since mine is slipping as it shifts into 2nd I am assuming this would be a good idea??
